Rebec Vineyards

We absolutely love everything about Rebec, but if you are fortunate enough to find yourself in the area for the annual Wine & Garlic festival, do attend! There's lovely music, awesome vendors of all kinds, and do we even need to mention the best wine & garlic around! If you can't, be sure to stop in for a tasting & try Sweet Sofia, one of the most unique flavors I've ever come across. The folks here are absolutely delightful to talk with, you feel like they've been your neighbors forever, and the wine is so good you wish you didn't have to leave.

I like really sweet wine. They did not have a wine that I liked, but my husband liked a few. However, they did have a mead that I really liked. The lady who helped us was so nice. We enjoyed our time there and learning about what they offer.

Did a wine tasting here on a Monday, it was so calm, delightful, and wonderful. Eric took great care of us and gave us a perfect picture of the wine selections. Box of snacks was delicious. We left with four bottles, jam, and a wine cork!

Gorgeous winery and grounds with a creator who knows his craft. Absolutely worth a stop to do a tasting a pick up a couple bottles. Make sure to try the Sweet Sophia for a nuanced take on a sweeter white wine!

Great place to stop by when you traveling up or down on road 29.
People are friendly. Winemaker has stories about wine making art and history. There are wonderful selection of 18 wines. My favor is "Sweet Sophia". Wine testing room inside is small and cozy well decorated in southern style. There are plenty of space to sit outside on the deck and in the shade nearby. To dogs lovers it is such a relieve to find the place where you and your pet can run and stretch your muscles. To drone lovers - I have 3 different drones and was kindly allowed to fly all of them - just ask. Any time I would travel on 29 through, I will definitely stop by to rest, and fly my drones.

This was a beautiful vineyard and is a great tasting for a great price. Loved all the ones out of the 16 wines we tried at least 14 were a hit!

We attended the garlic festival today and it was a fun time. I enjoyed tasting lots of wine and listening to the many different bands. I was somewhat disappointed that there weren't many food vendors using lots of garlic in the foods they served. I guess I thought it would be a competition of sorts featuring garlic. It was a beautiful day for the festival though.

What a delightful winery! The 16 pour tasting was amazing! Our server, Jennifer, was friendly, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. She was well schooled in the various wines, which were all quite tasty! A quaint place we look forward to visiting again!

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Driving through Virginia stopping in at wineries that dot the area we had been consistently underwhelmed ... until we came to Rebec. A tasting includes all of the wines they have, not just a selection: On the day we were there it was 16 wines, for $10, with a souvenir glass! Also, everything was good, not something I can say for the other wineries we visited. Do yourself a favor, if you're nearby stop in and visit Rebec. One of the very best tastings and nicest wineries I've visited.

Very quaint and lovely staff. They make you feel right at home. The pairings are very well-made and perfect for wine tasting! The winery is probably the easiest winery to find out of all I have been to. It is right on 29 in Amherst, VA. Don't miss out on all of their events. They have a great shaded area for you to sit and listen to music!

Went to Rebec today with high hopes and was NOT disappointed. Had the pleasure of meeting Casey and Jasmine (sorry if spelled incorrectly) and doing the full tasting menu. The area where the winery is located is just the type of place one would want to come and enjoy a glass or five of wine. I look forward to returning with friends and also to the different festivals they have going on. Also, I do apologize as we forgot to leave a tip, but I will be sure to compensate for that next time. Thanks for the great time!

Was very pleasant visit. Such a relaxing place. Vine tasting was incredible experience of European taste with nice view of vineyards. Food was perfect pairing with vines. Vinemaster shared Rebec's history and origin of vines.

There were 3 of us and Melody was awesome. Had the tasting, some really good wines, especially the mead wines. Make this a must stop on your adventures.

I had a great time at the Labor Day music and Wine fest. Funky Bones and of course Apple Butter Soul was on pitch. Wine was cold and plentiful 🍷😄

Beautiful view, great wines and an awesome host! Also has a great picnic area!
