Bay City Lodge & Restaurant

This is a true hidden gem. The service was fantastic and we loved it. It is not for boogie folks so keep driving. This is a fishing camp type atmosphere with folks ready to fish and staying to fish that just needs clean sleeping accommodations and a hot shower. We loved sitting outside chatting with other fishermen and sipping a cold beer. The place is very clean and has a store with drinks, ice and snacks as well as fishing gear. It has a restaurant that is open for breakfast only. Service was fantastic... We plan to go back in October!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and it was such a nice experience. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and it was so cute. Very quiet and relaxing. The housekeeping staff was amazing as well. Beautiful dock and grounds to explore. 10/10 would recommend.

Always a good time here. It's a fish camp so don't expect it to be a five star rated place to stay! Great access to the by way to get out to the ocean. They have ice and fish cleaning stations good enough to suit just about anyone in need. They'll clean your fish for you if you want, and the restaurant has a wonderful hamburger steak! Great food and atmosphere especially after a long day of fishing! Not to far from the Piggly wiggly if you need supplies or breakfast!

we have stayed here for over 20yr everything was above and beyond but this year was a bummer we had cabin number 21 and it should be torn down it was deplorable the floor in one bedroom was bad you barely could walk on it,bathtub had black scum all around it, tolet seat was loose and falling off the last night there I had things taken off my boat

The very best seafood of anywhere in Franklin, Gulf or Wakulla counties! The service could not be better and the atmosphere is conducive to the area. The cleanliness is unheard of; you could literally eat off the floor in this place! Prices are very reasonable and well worth every penny spent. If you are unhappy with anything in this restaurant, you are probably not going to be happy anywhere else period.

Our bass club comes to Bay City Lodge once a year for a weekend tournament. It has become one of our favorite trips. We can put our boats in the water on Friday when we get here and don't have to take them out until we leave on Sunday afternoon. There are several covered slips available with electricity to keep our boat batteries charged. The rooms are clean and pretty nice by fish camp standards. The highlight of the place is the restaurant. These folks can cook seafood better than any place I have ever been.

The food was really good. The portions were large and cooked just right. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect for the area. The restaurant is at a marina. Kind of hard to find, but you won't be disappointed.

This is the kind of place that you make memories. The rooms are VERY modest, but it's a "sportsman lodge". The restaurant is fabulous, and very new.
The staff here makes everyone feel like family. We've been coming to Bay City for a decade and love it.

Have been staying here for years the staff is very accommodating the fishing is good and the food is outstanding as well. This is a good place for a fishing weekend getaway. Would highly recommend it.

Where else can you park your boat at tbe dock, ice your fish in the ice house, take some of your freshly-caught fish into the restaurant for them to cook to your preference, and all within a short walk of your room/cabin? Fisherman heaven! We have been coming here for 15+ years, and hope to keep coming for many more. It is the last of its kind in the area.

Been eating here for years, miss the old digs, but just had another fabulous stuffed flounder tonight in the new restaurant....the cook showed us the fish _ said it was too big for one person, so we shared it...perfectly seasoned and cooked..add a baked potato & a couple of hush puppies...primarily a fish camp, but check em out for Seafood dinners and breakfast , but call first to make sure they are open!

If you want to get lost in Old Florida, this is the place!! Very clean rooms, outstanding service and food!!! Charters are available! Put this on your bucket list for the summer!!! Plus, store has it all!!

Always great food anytime you go. If it's been weeks , months or years the food is always the best quality seafood around.

fer de water access vibe via Poormans Creek. de spot ta fish, catch, prep yer boat, find yerself onna Appalach or St. Marks. thx to de guy at de register to allow me to park n kayak away on my trip.

We have so many good memories from the lodge, restaurant and marina. Buddy and Jimmy are an institution.

Awesome fish camp. Super nice and a great place to stay while fishing here.

The food was excellent as was the service. We sat at the window with a view of the boat slips and water.

Bay City Lodge is one of the best places I've been too if you love to fish you will love this place
