Harris County Community Center

The pool is great for lap swim. Water temp is not often too warm. Facilities are in good condition, the staff is friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the fees for Harris County residents. The Rec Center and the Iron Horse Trail are jewels of West GA!

We recently visited Callaway Gardens (April 2024) and played pickleball twice at your facility. We purchased the $10 guest passes. EVERYONE was so kind and welcoming! Wonderful place in our community. They do a lot with recreation sports. The membership for residents is only $10 a year for the gym, pool, etc. very friendly and helpful staff.

This pool was great! We had an annual family reunion and this year we bought out 2 hours for the whole family. Pool was amazing as you can walk in beach style which was great for the little kids. Bathrooms were very clean and huge. We also had a very good pickup game of basketball. Staff was amazing and friendly. They have front desk attendees and also they had 3 lifeguards on duty to assist. If your in town PLEASE go check it out!

Great place to exercise, swim, have meetings, or play a game of basketball. You can even have your birthday there.

I love the staff and the amenities at the Rec Center! The water aerobics are fun and I noticeably feel stronger. I have talked my neighbor who has arthritis and he is much more mobile.

I went for the first time today and purchased membership cards for my family of four. 10 bucks per person (in county) for a year is a great price! Today we went swimming and the pool is awesome, and the kids had a good time. My plan is to start utilizing their gym as well. My oldest and middle son will enjoy the basketball courts as well. Another great thing is that they have a schedule of events planned for each day. (They offer swimming lessons too, which is great for children) I wish I had taken advantage of HCCC sooner! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Update: My initial review still stands. I have had no issues with anyone or anything. We use the pool and it's been great. My children love going and what's best is that it's good even while it's raining. You just can't beat the price for what you get. The showers and restrooms are always clean and tiny as well which is always a huge plus. So 5 🌟 again!!

Low cost membership is required ($5.00 initial card fee/$5.00 renewal). It offers basketball/pickleball/volleyball ball courts, heated swimming pool, exercise room (with dumb bells/benches), and locker rooms to shower and change clothes.

Well cleaned, very good prices, and AMAZING STAFF, especially the lifeguards! Everyone who works there is very helpful and nice. The pool is always kept at the perfect temp, and the fitness room has plenty to do when wanting to work out. This is a perfect place to have meetings or even birthday parties. Yall have to visit this awesome place!!!!!!

This was our first time here. Everything was fantastic! The front desk was very helpful. Everything was clean. The pool was perfect for all ages. The basketball court was in great shape. The cardio room was good. The locker rooms were clean. The membership is cheap. Overall just excellent!

My wife and I went here for a roller derby match. The facilities were extremely nice.

Harris County Community Center has great facilities for basketball, pickleball, volleyball, and indoor walking/jogging with it's two adjacent basketball courts. 14 laps is a mile. AND it has a huge swimming pool featuring up to 9 Olympic swim lanes, a free swim area with depth from 4 to 6 feet, and a beginner's area with zero depth walk-in entry and increasing depth to 3.5 feet.

There is an exercise room with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bicycles, a multipurpose weight machine, and free weights. There are meeting rooms with audio-visual equipment, a family/party room, an outdoor patio with grills, and a kitchen/concession center

It is all kept spotless, the staff is helpful and friendly, the operating hours are generous, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Been a member for a few years. seems they got the heater for the pool fixrd & it is the nicest cleanest & prettiest indoor pool I've seen. There are kids basketball tournaments going on now, and thats loads of fun!
Harris County is fortunate to have this rec center.

This place is way under rated. With the swimming pool, gym, courts and areas for parties this is the place to go. It's also right next to the library!

Played pickleball and volleyball. Plenty of room to play and social distance from other groups and very clean. Well ventilated, nice and cool in the gym.

Excellent pool. Great exercise room. Clean spacious bathrooms and friendly staff.

Harris County GA is on the ball. This place is top notch. Membership required but the fee is affordable. Well worth it to have access to quality facilities such as found here.
