Excellent food, friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!
UPDATE: Since our first visit we have ordered many times from El Gallo Dorado. The food is always AMAZING!! So grateful to have this delicious, authentic Mexican food in Cairo, and looking forward to trying many more items from their menu!

If you're looking for real, authentic, the way they make it in Hispanic cultures, food - this is the place to go! They serve freshly made tortilla chips, non-flat soda, and really good food! There's no buffet on Sunday, but the food comes out fast and looks great. Also the service is friendly and effecient. Our family will definitely visit again and remember to take pictures of the food 😂🤦‍♀

Excellent service and awesome buffet. My drink stayed full as i read my book while making room for more of the various desserts. Can you ever get enough cheesecake or flan?
