Downtown Bistro

Due to weekend festival going on in the area the restaurant was only serving hamburger and sausage dogs. My wife and I both had a hamburger which was grilled on a grill outside the back of the restaurant just off the enclosed patio where we were sitting. The aroma was great, the hamburger was delicious. However they could have used a better brand of sausage for the sausage dog.

I really love coming here. The food is so delicious, the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I've been coming here for almost 12 years, and this really is my favorite spot. I've induced my friends and family to this restaurant, and they were very pleased. My husband loves coming here too.

The Patio is now open and awesome!!! Stopped here just passing through town and was pleasantly surprised by the great food and blown away by the vibe of the patio!!!!!

Clean & quiet with a comfortable atmosphere and relaxing music, this place is very welcoming. The menu is simple but the food is delicious. I had the Tuscan sandwich paired with the potato soup and both were delicious. Would highly recommend this place for nice lunch.

Everybody has got to try the "Orange Slaw", it is awesome!
It is a coleslaw with Madrian oranges added .
The Ruben and Roast Beef sandwiches are great too.
Nice atmosphere, relaxing and peaceful place to eat.
The only downfall is the restroom is not handicap accessible. There are no other issues though.

Downtown Bistro has the BEST coleslaw!!! Also , if you want a suggestion for a very tasty sandwich, try the Turkey Pesto. You won't be disappointed.

Food is always amazing. There is only one server so if they are busy you might have to be patient but she is always very kind and attentive. Desserts ...WOW!!

Chef Lorenzo is AMAZING. We had such a warm welcome in the middle of the cold afternoon today. Enjoyed the BEST Tomato Soup I have ever had. Enjoyed the Pineapple Cole Slaw. Loved the Pulled Pork - best I ever had. and THEN. Fresh Butter Pecan Cake right out of the oven. My Mom and I split a piece - she asked for a warm glaze and he made it on the spot! It was so delicious we bought another piece to share for our dinner that night. KUDOS CHEF!!!!!!! MUST VISIT.

The food here is so amazing!!! The taste is simply an awesome tapestry that lingers on the tongue!!!! I'm still blown away by the quality of freshness, the healthiness, and the feel of home prepared meals. The atmosphere is unequivocally palatial with such a sense that you are dining royally!

Wonderful little surprise in our small town of Vidalia; great atmosphere. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy the alley seating! Food is excellent, and Lorenzo is the best host!

The soups are always delicious. Today I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch. I was very pleased with the food and service as always. I tried the butter pecan pound cake and it was amazingly delicious.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the people who are running the place are absoulety positively the most professional group of people I have encountered. They deserve 10 stars rather than 5 but it only allows me 5. 😔. Anyway the food is outstanding! I would not change a thing in the restraunt. I drive an hour and a half just to come eat here. I recommend this place to anyone looking for wonderful food and a very warm welcoming atmosphere. You all keep up the outstanding work you are doing, and I hope you continue to grow. See you soon!

1st time here and will definitely be back we have found our new favorite lunch date spot the salads are amazing not to mention the veggie soup❤ can't say enough good stuff about this place and the staff is very friendly

Just happened upon this place, and could not find it on Trip Advisor. Love the decor, clean, nice and great service. The food I had was for luck, a salad and it was perfect, and not too big. Iced tea was perfect. Go see and experience this place it is a gem.

Best smelling Minestrone soup today. It tasted just as good as it smelled. Great service and a relaxing lunch. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

A small, quaint sandwich shoppe with an eclectic New Orleans feel. I had the panini turkey club. Very good. And owners are super nice, too.

The food here is wonderful and it is always served with a smile. It's a very clean and tidy place. And it is decorated in such a hip mod way that lends itself to comfortable conversation.
