Lockport Elevated Wetlands Board Walk

It is a beautiful area with lots of birds, had 2 owls greet us at the beginning of the walkway. There's a lot of foliage and flowers along with Cypress's knees to see along the path. This is a very short walk though but worth it if needing some outdoor time.

It is a small walk, but if you are quiet you can see so many birds! Would recommend wearing mosquito repellant though

It's a lovely little nature walk. Enjoy it for a quiet place to spot birds, bugs, flowers, etc... and taking pictures!

It is very nice. Didn't think you had a place like that in Lockport. They should advertise more. I really enjoyed the walk and it is free. (No admission). "WOW" it is a hidden Gem.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Lots of different wildlife to see and hear. Great place to take pictures.

Attention birders: this is a nice spot to stop and stretch your legs when heading down to Grand Isle. An Bald Eagle was perched in. Bald cypress and a Cooper’s Hawk flew over when we visited.

This is a beautiful spot with gorgeous wildflowers and swamp views. The only criticism I have is that the boardwalk is pretty short

The boardwalk is in good shape and provides a nice view of the wetlands. It is, however, very short - only 440 feet long.

Is very very nice, great trails and scenery.
