If I lived nearby, this would be my local. Staff was super friendly and the fry batter was so good (French fries, fried chicken, etc.). Great prices (and if you are lucky some great live music)! Note:~$2 credit card fee so bring cash if that matters to you.

This place is rich with History . The food was good. Some things are a.little.pricey for sure . The atmosphere has that come on in sit down make yourself at home feel. Our waitress has been with the company for Years N hands down one of the best waitresses I have run across in years. If you get the opportunity to have Carebear be your waitress.. yes i said Carebear..she is Devine to be around an her nickname surely fits . Great service ..I can't express that enough. They have a book you can sign an leave your info on if you would like. They have lots of history inside that you can read about or see pics . They have memorabilia you can purchase if you would like as well. The sweet tea was amazing. It is on a side road an you only see the side of the old building if your not careful. The burger an onion rings I posted was like $13, the chicken salad I posted was like $17 , my baroque pulled pork plate was like $12. Steaks an such are much higher .

Folks, this is the place to go! Excellent service with servers like KeKe and Care Bear!! Catfish, excellent! Give it a try! I ate there twice in same day!

This place was the bomb!!!! We were a little skeptical because from the outside it looked old but the inside CHANGED OUR MIND. The food was absolutely delicious, the bartender was nice and our server Dee was a superstar. Food came out quick and tasted great, fresh food, the fried food was crispy but tender. Had to try the fried dill pickles since they’re known for them, they definitely performed well! Great food! Highly recommended!!

Hidden gem along the Mississippi Blues trail. Significant arts history and references to this cafe… check out the pictures for more information. Food was fresh, tasty, nice portions! Staff were hospitable and got everything right! We will be back.

My brother told me of this place and when we pulled in the parking lot, I thought, "Uh, bro ... what did you get me into?" I thought it could've been condemned! But when we walked in, I was in a state of awe! This is definitely a place steeped in Blues music. But I didn't go for that. I was HUNGRY! The Hollywood Cafe did NOT disappoint in any way, shape, or form! The food was one of the best I've had -- anywhere! And they didn't serve meager portions. I had a lunch that filled me up and left me with enough for a 2nd meal. Ah, I had ribs and they were excellent! Fried Mushrooms and Fried Pickles were first class.
Finally, the Customer Service was awesome! Friendly and attentive.
I couldn't have had a better experience!

What a great place to eat! We almost dropped in at a fast food chain when we spotted "The World Famous Hollywood Cafe!" The food was hot and amazing. Fried pickles 😁! The hamburger steak with gravy was so yummy. The 3 cheese-cheeseburger was so good, served with hot fries. Apple cobbler to go...Care Bear was took excellent care of us! Never doubt trying the local place!

Fried green tomatoes, catfish, ribs, bbq. Everything was delicious. Thank you Tobias for the great service and recommendations.

The girls working here were so nice! I had the Penn BLT and onion rings and it was delicious. Drinks were good as well. We will come back for dinner

Walking in the door was like stepping back in time. The wait staff was great and the food did not disappoint. Very good experience overall. I will definitely go back.

Extremely friendly staff. Amazing food. Plus the center of one of the best songs ever. Highly recommend that you take time to enjoy this wonderful southren institution and establishment.

French fries are made Huge compared to any other fast food place close to here. And the peach cobbler is made with peachesyou get it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.... yum... All in a Historical Bldg served with southern charm. Great place to go with the whole family or to just sit at the bar and kill a night 🍹 🍸 🍷 drinking with friends....this place is a piece of history that says y’all come eat ... don’t forget to check in on social media...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So good. You have to get the fried pickles! And the hamburgers are massive....and yummy. Not to mention the awesome service and atmosphere!

Ordered the trio sampler. Everything tasted good. Wasn’t a fan of the potato salad but it wasn’t bad. Our server Alicia was great. Gave us history on the establishment. Beer was cold and served with a chilled glass. I will return when I’m in the area.

We really enjoyed this place, the food was good and stories about the place was amazing. I believe the birthday last wouldn’t had it any other way.
