Great little place to eat. Staff friendly and efficient.

The people here were very friendly and provided great service. You wouldn't realize this place had a full grill with a dining area just passing by. I got the 2 eggs plate and it was very flavorful and the prices were reasonable. The menu had a good variety, especially for lunch. I would definitely come back again and try something different.

Classic American Flea market. A new friend of mine took me here. They are only open on Sundays. The huge variety of items from homeopathic medicine, work uniforms, live music and of course the food. Washington has a large Hispanic population and this place smells AMAZING! And of course being in South everyone is so friendly. Lots of families and children walking around. It is dog friendly too. Highly recommended!

Cheese biscuits, hamburger steak, fried chicken and cheeseburgers all the way with slaw are some of my favorites. Absolutely the best flounder I have ever eaten!!!

I drive past Poormans Restaurant every day going to work, and I rarely stop. This past Saturday, I decided to place a takeout order and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the young lady was, who took my order. Restaurants and the food service industry in general have really been on the decline as far as customer service goes and the basics of just greeting the customers. So to my surprise, when I went in to pick up my order, the restaurant was very crowded and there was a long line to check out and again the couple of people working the register and prepping the food order were so friendly, so nice so patient. It was very refreshing to see good service for a change. The food is great. I left them a good tip in the jar and I will be back!

I always get their cheese biscuit and my husband gets a country ham and cheese biscuit. They are both delicious and the people are always friendly.

This was our first time at Poormans. We had a Great breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was great and the price is just right. The wife and I loved it.
We are now full time customers.

Great food and shopping at the flea market!

Daughter loves going to the flea market but only want to go eat at the restaurant when we go. So needless to say she loves the restaurant. Just needs more space inside with tables and seating. Very popular place.

This is a fine establishment, got slammin Hoop cheese biscuits. Me and a buddy of mine use to go fishing in Washington not 6mil. From poor man's. We would stop there every Saturday or Sunday morning around 4:30 or 5:00, and one day I bought a whole fried chicken to carry out on the boat for me and my buddy to eat on all day. When I bought the first chicken he said look just call me at 4:00am at the restaurant and I'll have a chicken fried for yall when you get here. You talking about good food, they're good people too!!!

Very good food, I get a cheese biscuit, a sausage link with a cup of coffee when I go there and there's none better in the county. They have the best sausage as far as I'm concerned. Very reasonable price also.
