The Shops at Main and McGrew

I visited this store for the first time on Labor Day weekend. This place is unlike anything I have ever seen! The building by itself is historic and beautiful to look at. The owners clearly have a passion for curating this amazing collection of antiques, oddities, collectibles & more! The store was very clean and neatly organized. All of the staff were very warm and friendly along with the cutest little “shop dog”, Belle. I will definitely be back soon and I highly recommend a visit if you are close by.

First off I love roaming around in the library I went to as a kid. It’s so beautiful in there and so nostalgic. Now to the review part. Their rock room is gorgeous, the selection of antiques is amazing, and the prices are very fair. I always go and get rocks then one of the wood boxes to display them in. Two birds, one store. Love this place and definitely recommend it!

This place is my absolute favorite place to go antiquing! It's like walking into a museum where you can purchase the exhibits. The books they have are incredible, some dating back to the mid to late 19th century. I have a few in my collection. They also have an incredible rock room! My stepdaughter got some amethyst crystals and some other mineral she liked. There's fossils, fools gold, geodes, and a few other crystal formations.
The people are always professional and extremely friendly. The prices are a real bargain. You could take $50 in with you and come out satisfied. Plus, ice cream counter!!
This store is a state treasure and should be added to popular places to visit if it hasn't already been added.

A friend and I visited this fabulous store yesterday for the first time. From the moment you step through the front doors of this beautiful old building you can begin to enjoy the perfectly curated antiques available for sale. Each little area is like a vignette and is perfectly displayed. The prices are very competitive and lots of pieces are even priced below other stores. I found so many treasures that I wished I had a bigger home to put them in. And to top it all off there is yummy ice cream available to buy and a couple of cute booths to sit in to enjoy it. The daughter of the owners was so sweet and knowledgeable. I was just delighted to have found such a beautiful destination location now in which to spend an hour or so.

The owners of this business are very nice and they clearly have a passion for their business. We enjoyed exploring the building and seeing all the things they have in this building. It was very clean and displayed very well. The rock collection is unbelievable! If you're in Shelbyville, a visit here is a must!

Love the building and am so glad that it has been made into an Antique Store. Very interesting items and the prices are reasonable. I've been there twice and have purchased many items. I also love the rock and fossil room. Can't wait to take my Grandchildren here. I've already bought some rocks which they loved. I collect old medicine tins and I've bought some here for $1. When I go to an Antique Store I want to buy something and here you can because they have very fair prices. I like unusual things and there are many that I've never seen before. I can't wait to take more friends and family members back. The owners are very friendly and helpful if your looking for a particular item.

Danielle has such passion for helping you find that right piece! We are just beginning a remodel and this shop will be visited frequently! Even on days that you just need inspiration their is ice cream for only a dollar! Who can say no to that! They have some great jugs I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate into remodel! There are so many fun pieces in there.

A hidden gem in Shelbyville,Tennessee!!! Exquisite artifacts and antiques. Marvelous rock shop for collectors. ( You will find many rare beautiful pieces )

Enjoyed Our day trip to Shelbyville, TN. "The Shops at Main & McGrew" was definitely our favorite stop. The owners are friendly & welcoming. The place is truly an antique store with a wide variety & price range so that there is something for everyone. Items are displayed in groupings & vignettes throughout the store which made for pleasant shopping.

Amazing place!! So many things to see... plan on spending time in order to see everything. Alex's Rock Shop is a very cool spot. Very reasonable prices. Do not pass up this treasure if you find yourself anywhere close to Shelbyville Tennessee!

What an excellent shop!! I love antiques, stones, records... and they have it all! We grabbed ice cream after shopping, and soaking in all the amazing items for sale! Wish I could buy it all! Staff was so nice and inviting too. Check it out if you havent yet. You're bound to find something you love, and at a resonable price!

A wonderful new addition to the Shelbyville square!

I was in town for Father's Day down from Nashville and was able to check out the new antique store in the old library. While I was there, I was able to meet one of the owners and their children who run the place. They were very nice and I told them how great it was to see the library repurposed in such a manner. We discussed the new shop and how they plan to get involved in the community, which I think is fantastic. They also introduced me to their pets. They have a big German Shepard, a Sulcata Tortoise, and an iguana. It's like a small zoo and antique store, two of my favorite things! Ha.

The selection here is too notch. Everything is interesting, reasonably priced, and clean. I was able to find a small bag full of items and I could have found more if I wasn't rushed to get home.

I plan on coming back when I am back in town visiting family and I really hope they do well. This town owes the new business owners for saving the old library and bringing a wonderful new shop to our little community.

My absolute favorite antique store in the area. Always bringing in new and unique items. The store is very well laid out and always changing as you can never see everything in one trip. Visit often and always find new items. Staff is amazing, knowledgeable and welcoming! Make this a MUST-stop by when visiting Shelbyville!

Fantastic people with fantastic treasures of antiquity. Not only have they antiques yet a very impressive rock shop. Worthwhile mention is they have taken a fantastic building that use to be the United States Post Office then the Shelbyville, Bedford County Library and have established it as a National Historic Landmark worthy of visiting.

Love this shop! Huge selection with reasonable prices! But what makes this store really amazing is the staff. Those folks are awesome! Helpful, friendly, and always ready with smiles!

They definitely have some treasures. I love the big selection of wooden drawers and boxes.

This place is a Shelbyville must stop! They have a variety of antiques items at all price levels. Great place to stroll and browse. Also an awesome source if you're searching for a perfect a gift!

Nice old building, Owners were nice people, shop had a little of everything including 2 dogs, one very friendly the other was as big as a bear and very lazy, great shop to browse thru
