Took my son for his first deer hunt to Red Bluff Lodge. They have a full rifle range with a stand, this was a huge help getting my son set up for his first sit.

Red Bluff Lodge is by far one of the best hunting experiences I’ve encountered in my many years enjoying the sport of hunting. My son and I wanted to plan something different for his Senior year of High School. When we booked an Alligator hunt with Jim for Sept. 11, 2022, we could not have imagined the adventure he had in store for us. We have always hunted, but nothing akin to an alligator hunt. Jim provided everything we would need and made sure we were coached through every step of the hunt.

We went to hunt a big alligator, but RBL put us on an absolute dinosaur. Finding and stalking the alligator at 2:30 am was only the beginning. After the crossbow shot, it was pure adrenaline and excitement for the next 50 minutes. Jim has a procedure in place for every step towards finding, securing and finishing the gator. No one had to ask what to do, what was next or where anything was located. Until he was harpooned, there was only the arrow and a 50 ft bowfishing line connecting us to the gator. At one point the gator turned towards the trees and I am convinced a lessor team would have lost him right there, but he was able to turn him towards open water through pure force.
Once we had him dispatched and in the boat, we all were in awe. I couldn't believe what had just happened. 10'9" and 300 lb.

Everything about the hunt was first class. The lodge and facilites are very nice and full of trophies and trinkets from other adventures to look at. Jim knows as much about whitetails, hogs and gators as anyone you will ever meet. I am sure that a whitetail or hog hunt would be just as well run.

That night is and will always be one of my best and favorite memories. I cannot thank Jim and the RBL team enough and will see them again as soon as we draw another tag.

A great outfitter for the novice to experienced hunter. From first time with the family or adding another Trophy to the collection, Jim and his whole crew will not disappoint.

I recently visited Red Bluff Lodge for a 3 day deer hunt with my Dad and my son. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Jim is the most educated and scientific guide I've ever worked with. He uses a combination of wind data, overnight camera pictures, his database of animal movement, and his Wildlife Biology experience to put his hunters in the best position to harvest an animal. The food and lodging was great, the tree stands were great, the guides and general operations were great. it was a near perfect trip and I will definitely be back for another hunt soon.

My husband and I just spent three days at the lodge gator hunting. We had a great time. The entire staff was courteous, friendly, and very good at what they do. We definitelyplan on going back. The lodging and food was excellent. If you are looking for a relaxing, enjoyable hunt, this it the place. Thanks again Mr. Boone, Mark and Chris Cooke.

This was my first time at Red Bluff Lodge for an evening hog hunt for myself and a friend. I have previously done 2 hog hunts in Georgia and 2 hog hunts at another place in South Carolina. Red Bluff Lodge was by far the best hog hunting lodge I have used. The staff was exceptional, the lodge was comfortable and clean and the skinning area and freezers were clean and organized. Jim did a great job putting both of us on hogs for 2 nights of hog hunting. Scheduling and reserving the hunt was easy with no problems. Jim was responsive and answered all my questions before scheduling the hunt. I will return to Red Bluff Lodge for another hunt in the future. March 2020

We just returned to Red Bluff Lodge in March 2023 for a second visit for an evening hog hunt. I remain impressed with the professionalism Jim dedicates to everything he does. This is an exceptional hunting operation that still gets 5 starts from me. I plan to continue to visit Red Bluff Lodge for many years to come.

PLEASE READ: I have hunted with Jim Boone at Red Bluff Lodge now for at least 12 years now. My father and I took our first trip there together many years ago and were hooked. The hunting was unbelievable but not the reason we returned all these years. Simply put, we feel like family. Red Bluff Lodge has provided me and my family which includes my best friend and his family, hands down, with the most memorable moments of my life. We have taken our children here and all experienced harvesting their first animal. I cannot express in words what going to Red Bluff means to the group of us that return year after year after year. I have spent many long hours with Jim hunting , talking, laughing and simply enjoying life. No one is more dedicated at providing the complete experience. I will promise you, you will not have any better overall experience than at Red Bluff. For those of you that have been there,you know exactly what I’m talking about. I have meant some incredible people that I keep in Contact with through the atmosphere Jim provides at the lodge. Do yourself a favor and go hunt with Jim.

This was our first hog hunting trip with RBL and it definitely won’t be our last. Jim Boone and his family went out of their way to make sure we received the best experience possible. Very cool and very clean hunting lodge. Food was amazing. All out good time. We went down for a long weekend, did 2 night hunts and between the 4 of us we brought home 4 really nice hogs. Unbelievable amount of experience and knowledge coming from Jim and Jaime. Thanks again we can’t wait to come back down next year!

Jim Boone and his family and staff run an incredible operation. The lodge is beautiful and the food and accommodations are top notch. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable about hunting and wildlife management, and he will work himself to the bone to put a smile on your face and get you an opportunity to harvest a trophy animal. I don't think the man sleeps during hunting season. I am a repeat client and plan on bringing family, friends, and business associates for many years to come.

Planned a trip for a hog hunt with my father and 12 yr old son. Jim and Jamie did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed. They both were more than helpful with any questions we had and made us feel like family. The food was delicious, which was evident by the number of times my son re-filled his plate. We had a great and successful hunt and will be planning on returning again.

I went as a customer and left as a friend 16 years ago. Jim and his staff will always go out of their way to insure you have the best time and get the most out of your trip whether it be hog, velvet deer, trophy gator or long beard hunting you will not be disappointed. The lodge is very nice and food is always great. I look forward to my next trip the second I pull out of his driveway and can’t wait to get back.

My son and I booked with Jim and co for a one day alligator hunt. We had so much fun that day that I called my wife and she and my other two sons came in for extended/extra days there. One of my sons is not the “outdoorsman” but the guys there took him under their wings and taught him to shoot and by the end he was sitting in a deer stand with me. From top to bottom this is an amazing experience and place. Well worth it for the lifetime memories!

Words can't even explain how great this place is! Mr. Jim Boone and Red Bluff Lodge is flat out awesome! If you are looking to make life long memories and have a blast with high odds of harvesting wild game, this is the place! The whole team @ Red Bluff Lodge truly "under promised and over delivered" on our hunt!

My cousin, father, and I just finished up a Hog/Turkey Combo Hunt. Mr. Boone and Jamie were both outstanding hosts, guides, and teachers. We not only learned a lot about hog/turkey hunting, but we each harvested hogs, and they were all big pigs! It was an unbelievable overall experience with excellent lodging, food/laundry service, and they even quartered the animal for you for butcher processing. I strongly recommend using the equipment they provide because there is none better. My father, who has never been hunting and has recently become open to the idea of it, shot and killed his first animal...20minutes after climbing into his stand no less! It was a GREAT trip that I will remember forever. I highly recommend their services, they treat you like family and we will be repeat customers for sure!

I went for the first time and I absolutely loved it. It's worth going just for the lodge and great food but nobody works harder to make your hunt the best it can be. The other hunters I met there were repeat customers most of which have hunted each year for many years and some multiple times a year. That says a lot about the place.

We just got back from a Alligator and Hog hunt at Red Bluff Lodge and it was fabulous all 4 of us got Gators and 2 of us got Hogs,we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Jim has a wonderful place to stay and great hunting also.If you get an opportunity to go you will have a great experience,Thanks Jim Marc,Richard,Joe and David
