This is the DMV to go to. I don’t typically do reviews but making an exception because NaKia was on point! Great customer service, super friendly, and she knew exactly what to do. I did this on a lunch hour and still had time to go eat!

@dmv, hire more people like NaKia!

This DMV is nothing like any DMV I’ve ever been to. Everyone there was kind and courteous and helpful.

Just went in to pay some DMV fees, so I didn’t need the Declaration of Independence or any other crazy forms. And both employees I interacted with were friendly.

We've never had a bad experience at this DMV. Even before we lived in Kershaw County, we would drive from Columbia because this location was so much better.

I had to wait for about 15 minutes after scheduling online however it was very busy when I arrived. The process of both licensing and vehicle registration went very quickly once I was called. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and courteous and I was quite pleased overall with the service. Thank you SCDMV!

Never thought I would be writing a positive review for any DMV in the US. However, the Camden SC office staff are wonderful. Friendly, understanding, empathetic, and they know how to laugh! I no longer dread having to go the the DMV! Thank you Camden office!

The employees are really nice and incredibly patient. We were a walk-in and waited for 35 minutes. The facility was clean and they send you text when its your turn.

This is easily the best run DMV in the history of the world. If you do your part by researching what you need, asking questions, and making an appointment on line, they will do theirs. They are efficient, organized, and friendly. I wish all government agencies were run this well.

Fyi Make appt online, if walk in best to go in the morning. Go to the door let them know your there. You have to wait outside or in your car but make sure to have your window so you can hear your name be called. It was pretty fast as a walk in today total time in and out about 30/40 minutes.

I’ve had to go there a number of times Over the yrs., and have had friendly fast service. Immediately notice difference between Kershaw and Richland DMV.

WOW. Incredible !! Amazing staff and SUPER quick. I was in an out with a new Real ID in 10 mins after moving here from another state ! I’ve never had a better DMV experience- thank you Camden DMV!!

A young lady named Ashley gave me the road test for my motorcycle license. I was worried about passing, but Ashley was very nice and I forgot to worry about it. Turns out it was kind of fun. I passed my test too. Thanks Ashley!
