Food was delicious. Large portions and very friendly staff.

My family and I had the opportunity to eat here twice this weekend. First was for supper. Food was amazing and staff so friendly. Then second time was for breakfast. This is one of the only places open for breakfast on a Sunday. They had a packed house! The handful of people did an amazing job. And literally there were only a handful. The two lovely Ladies running the front were so kind. Those two ran in circles doing a job a big restaurant with 10 staff couldn’t handle. So big thank you to everyone at Coldwater. Food was fantastic and a great price. Staff was wonderful!!! We will definitely be back next time we are in town visiting family.

I’m the area visiting family, they took us here. What a nice rustic place! Food was excellent! Both waitresses were very nice. Reasonable price for food. I recommend the sweet tea…yum! I would definitely visit here again.

Hospitality at its best. We loved the service, the food and the atmosphere. They don't scrimp on servings! Save room for dessert, My husband said hands down the best chocolate cake her has ever had in his life! Highly recommend

I completely fell in love with this place. The steak was absolutely one of the best steaks I've ever ate. In town for work and also found out that the owners are fantastic people they also own the historic ranger hotel right up the road. It's a great place to stay.

Service and food are awesome. Please visit I'll bet you conver back. They are open for breakfast at 7am Fri-Sun. Closed Mon.and Tue.

Came in at the last minute, apologized and they were amazing. Food was awesome. I had the rib eye, one of the best I've had. The wife had a steak stuffed baked potato that she could have ate on for three days.

Great place in Coleman to swing by and get a great meal, generous portions, good prices, fast, kind service, in a very rustic, west Texas tavern-type spot. Smells like a BBQ joint but feels like a steakhouse. Not a big place but they squeeze in a lot of people just fine. Busy Saturday evening we came in, wife and kid and myself. Got served quick. Everything was good! My KC steak for 1 was just massive and cooked to a perfect medium. Huge baked tater as well. My wife's steak salad was huge and she enjoyed it. Kids' fried shrimp was demolished and his green beans were very good I must say as well. Strawberry cream cake is made in-house by co-owner Lisa and wowzer is that outstanding! Try this if you go!

I passed this place a few times, and happy I remembered it! We drove half an hour to see what this place was about, and so glad we did. Great atmosphere, friendly, great food, plenty of portions, and pretty fair priced. We will definitely be back :)

Amazing! Definitely a must stop for any travelers! Really fast service too! Steak, mac and cheese, salad, fries, and cobbler were delicious!!! I ate way too much but it was worth it! We will be back! Thanks Tonya for the excellent service!

My Family runs this Restaurant. However, I'm NOT rating them 5 stars simply because they're my family. They WORK, and WORK HARD at what they do. The food is as AWESOME as the HOME-COOKED meals we were RAISED ON. They KEEP the Restaurant Clean. The Meals are prepared PROFESSIONALLY...Not SLOPPY. There's PLENTY to EAT....You DON'T go away HUNGRY. The Customer Service is FRIENDLY and the Waitresses are TOP-NOTCH.....the Customer lacks NOTHING!! 5 STARS!! WELL DESERVED!!! I'm a 67yr. old Opinionated Senior (a. k.a. CAN BE A GRUMPY OLD MAN!!) that's HONEST. Eventhough it's my Family, if it wasn't fit to take your dog and feed it, I would SAY SO and MAKE IT PUBLIC!!!

Fantastic! The steak was really really good, the atmosphere was perfect. The had live acoustic music, the staff was friendly and attentive. From the point we sat down until we had our last bite of the Chocolate Dream Cake the experience just kept getting better. We had steak, baked potatoes, also...the Mac and cheese is awesome...and the fresh jalapeno bacon wrapped poppers were great. We will be back....with more people!

Home cooking at its finest, great staff, and the cooks well the food tells the story. I'm local to the area and love to cook, but when I go out Coldwater is where I eat. You will not be disappointed.

Great place. I'm a waitress there. We try to treat everyone like family. Prices are great and food is great. Friday night is all you can eat fish for $11.99, Saturday night is all you can eat steak, choice of potatoes and salad bar for $15.99. we also serve breakfast Friday morning till Sunday morning until 10:30 am.

The food was great. The waitresses were also having to cashier. But they did great. One of the locals got up and busted tables so people could sit. That. Says it all.

Great food. Interesting log cabin. Service was wonderful. Enjoyed the whole experience. Will go back the next time I am near!

If you ever need catering done, y’all these guys do it!!! We had inventory and had to feed our crew and managers from other locations. I had called to ask if they catered, and sure enough they did! We got something simple but it was delicious!! And to top it off the cobbler was amazing!! Thank you all for coming through for us!!!

The food was great and service was even better. They were super friendly. We got the ribeye and it was solid.

The atmosphere is cozy with its log cabin interior it’s like a step back into the west.

Well worth the stop.

This town has a surprising amount of good restaurants for its size.
