Wilderness Hunting Lodge

All good. The guides were all knowledgeable, professional and respectful. Food was great and the Lodge was clean and quiet. Our Razorback Boar was processed perfectly. Everything is labelled and sealed up.

My wife came along as a non hunter and she enjoyed her time at the lodge, she especially liked the food, nature, people and quiet time.

Bruce our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable with the land and the animals. He helped my husband find two big hogs to shoot. The lodges were Beautiful and clean . The food was amazing and very tasteful. All of the staff was friendly and keeped checking to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you everyone we look forward to coming back with a group of friends.

This was a Christmas gift, for my self and my wife.
This was our frist time getting to do something like this together.
We had a awesome time at wilderness hunting lodge, and the place was spectacular.
Our guide Tommy was great and he worked hard to get us on the animals I wanted to harvest.
The entire staff there is great, and the food was top quality service. Thanks some much for memory's of a life time, we really hope to return in the future.

Myself and brother Dan hunted razorback hogs here, and I couldn't have been more pleased, accommodations were great, and the meals were very satisfying. Overall was a very good value!

The staff is amazing! Food is excellent! Housekeeping does an awesome job! The guides are well trained and they do their best to make your hunt successful! Took my 3 son's and I and had a great memorable experience. Our guide was awesome and the accommodations were top notch. The meals were a little disappointing but we adapted. They processed all 4 of hogs into chops and sausage, very delicious. We will doing another family hunt there in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Wilderness Hunting Lodge. The lodge we stayed in was very comfortable. Some of the meals we had included lasagna, chili, fried catfish, brownies, biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Cory was our guide. He is very knowledgeable about the animals and the local area. He was also very accommodating for the hunts we choose. We were able to take home a sika deer and fallow deer. We will definitely come back with family and friends and request Cory as our guide. Processing was fast and nicely packaged/ labeled. All of the staff were friendly and hospitable. Thank you Wilderness Hunting Lodge for a memorable experience! We can’t wait to visit again!

What an awesome experience! I really had a great time here and the staff was excellent! They fed us 3 great home cooked meals a day, answered all my questions, and provided a perfect first time hunting experience for me. Brandon took extra care to make sure my hunting experience was perfect and I loved his enthusiasm and passion for what he does and helping me out. He did a perfect job on processing my meat for me. The accommodations were very comfortable as well. I will be back to do this again!

Had a great experience on a boar hunt at this place. Everyone from the staff,the cooks and the guides were very friendly and polite. The food was amazing as well as the accommodations.Bruce did an awesome job as our guide. We will definitely be going back. There was not one thing to complain about.

Nice facility, spacious buildings...bunkbed rooms. 3 meals a day. Comfort food. Meals served family style. Staff is helpful but you need to ask questions. Do some research on your hunt before you go. Other hunters were great. 100 yard range if you need it. A little difficult to find, call for verbal directions.

This was my first paid hunt ever so I wasn't sure what to expect. We found that the staff was helpful and informative. The meals were excellent. Our guide, Lynn, was very helpful, fun and entertaining as well. The entire staff was great. Rates are very reasonable. The experience was wonderful and we plan to go back again next year. Needless to say, any expectation that we had was far exceeded. Thanks for making this trip so wonderful and memorable.

Returned from our hunting trip 3 weeks ago, We had a very enjoyable time at Wilderness Hunting Lodge. The Guides were knowledgeable and very helpful. The food was good and If you went away hungry, you chose to. The bunkhouse was what I expected from visiting the website. We were totally happy with the processing of our hogs, and the overall experience.
We will be returning in the near future.

I read all the reviews before booking and some of the reviews are unfair. Wife and I stayed for three days. These are all high fenced areas with different animals in each area. If you know what you want to shoot then you go to a particular area. You can design the hunt to fit your wants/needs. Since there are different stages hunters go through this might not be your type of hunting. I am looking for exotic/trophy animals and don't want to spend time tracking or chasing animals for however long. Our guide Bruce was great, we told him we wanted a Oryx and we would text him when we were ready. We were hunting at 9 and back at the lodge for lunch. Processing could have been a little cleaner and some of the bags were not sealed. Food was good and always had enough. (If you aren't up early there won't be any hot breakfast). Bring your own alcohol. Lodging was descent with your own kitchens in each lodge along with washer and dryers. (stayed in lodge that s pictured on website). Wi Fi is different in each lodge. 6 to 8 months for Wilson's to get mounted. I plan on picking one up and dropping off another.

We just got back from wilderness hunting lodge great place. All of the guides were great. MATT was our guide he went out of his way to make sure my husband got the experience of a lifetime . Took some buddies on a boar hunt in Oct of 2011. We all harvested a boar, two with our bows, one with a shotgun and one with a 30/30. Lots of opportunities for shots. We saw tons of other animals as well. While this is a game farm, it is huge and it is on a mountain. So it feels like you are out in the wilderness. The staff were helpful when they were needed, or if you wanted to be on your own they would stay out of the way. Great for all levels of hunter. My buddy hunted over dogs and harvested the largest boar at 300+ pounds, that was very exciting! Very reasonable pricing at $750 for a boar and three days of hunting!
We will go back and fill the freezers again as soon as possible! Thanks guys!

The team at Wilderness Hunting Lodge does a great job taking care of you and helping make your hunt whatever you want. There is a great variety of animals and terrain. I had a great time chasing rams and hogs for the 4 days I was here. Can't do anything other than recommend you setup a visit and come out to have a good time.

In addition to the hunting the sleeping facilities and great, and the three square meals per day were all scratch made goodness. Can't wait to come back next year!

This is a thrilling experience. I took my Dad 66 years old and my 10 year old son. We had a excellent time. Our guide Brandon was a gentleman and I could not have asked for someone better to have around my ten year old son. Folks like Brandon are a rare breed these days. Thanks for everything. We will be coming back.
