There is some construction at the entrance, so be careful of that. Lots of parking, large clean parking lot. Inside is very modern and very clean. Restrooms are very clean. Free coffee, lots of brochures on things to do. Nice picnic area, walking paths, a spot for pets to do their business.

Super modern, clean and welcoming. You've made it into Louisiana after crossing from Texas on I-10. This is a fabulous welcome center with a visitor's center that is open 8:30am and 5:00pm. The remainder of the facility is open 24 hours and includes restrooms and vending machines and a great viewing platform and walking boardwalk trail.

Louisiana put some money and effort into this and they've done a fabulous job.

This is one of the best State welcome center I've ever seen. Beautiful setting on a lake where you can spot alligators, welcoming staff, spotless restrooms, and the best touch: a complimentary cup of Community Coffee. Well done, Louisiana! I feel bienvenue 😊

Best place for a rest stop. It was nice to cruise around the lake and stretch out our legs. We looked for gators but couldn't see any. The bathrooms were very clean. There was ample parking. Employees were nice and welcoming.

Gorgeous welcome center--one of the best in the lower 48! The restrooms are top notch and the view from the picnic area is STUNNING. Simply an A+ rest stop and should be added to everyone's eastbound journey. Be advised, you are now entering Louisiana, or as I like to refer to it, DARK TERRITORY. After this welcome center, cell reception is poor, there are few clean restrooms, and the road is littered with sharp plastic and metal debris. Take advantage of this last vestige of civilization!

Wow! All I can say is HANDS DOWN this is one of the most beautiful and epic visitor's centers I've ever stopped at. It was about sunrise on a May morning and the marshes were STUNNING. The bathrooms were very clean, modern and well stocks. What a pleasure to take a break at such a nice rest area and so pleased that Louisiana put time and money into this. The rest area on I-20 westbound after crossing the river is very outdated, so hopefully, the state will give that rest area the same beautiful update.

I don't give out 5 stars very often, but this place definitely deserved it. This was the nicest & most scenic rest stop I have ever visited. They have a lake w/ picnic tables. Their restrooms were Bucee's / Golden Nugget " clean "

My wife and I love stopping here whenever we go to and from Texas! The area is always maintained and the area is very beautiful. We like walking the small boardwalk to see what wildlife we can spot.

You will loose time visiting this place. If your body needs stretching and your driving brain needs a break, then this spot is ideal. I could have easily camped here if I didn't get yelled at.

Very nice welcome center. The staff was so friendly. They had coffee made, good coffee I might add. We were going to spend the night but my husband wanted to press on more,as he wasn't tired yet. Loved the sculptures, and butterfly garden out back.

Not only was this the nicest/cleanest rest stop/welcome center that I have EVER been to, it also has a small lake(not sure if it's a lake- a small body of water) and a nature trail to stretch those legs out. It was so nice and much needed after being on the road for hours. I would give it 6 stars if I could! 👍🏼
