The Outpost Casual Dining Restaurant

If you like corks and cattle or Rawls you NEED to visit this place. The service was amazing and the steak tips were by far the best steak dish I’ve had in lower Alabama. Also the beer and cocktail menu has a great variety of selections to suit anyone’s need, craft and domestic. I had a cucumber cooler that was super refreshing mixed perfectly. This is a hidden gem! Friendly staff, good prices! The young gentlemen singing is actually really, really good! We will be coming back!! Thank you for a good evening! I'm really surprised it wasn't as busy as it was. It's definitely a gem!

Early breakfast on a Sunday morning! This is one of the few in the area that serves a breakfast in the mornings on Sunday! Traditional southern offerings! Service is wonderful! I love the local business people with restaurants like these! Just come and eat! You won’t be disappointed!

Here is a place that deserves a 5 star review. Everyone must try the Jagersnitzel, I have ordered it twice now and it is incredible. I would like to order something different but I just can’t resist the Jagersnitzel. The service is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant is clean.

Had a really nice family dinner here. Really enjoyed it! Had lots of items on the menu, so something for everyone. Do serve alcohol. Not crowded, but picked up some as we were leaving.

I had the Outpost chicken, and It was fabulous. It was moist and full of flavor. The service was quick and the staff was so friendly. I can't wait to go back!

Server was very attentive. Our drinks were refilled promptly. I had the surf and turf and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was so juicy and seasoned so no steak sauce was needed. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and delicious. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and try something different.

Have been trying to get there for weeks. Finally made it. Omg the food is awesome and very reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back.

1st time I've eaten there and it surely won't be the last. Had the chicken on a bed of rice, with mash potatoes, brown gravey, salad, Texas toast. Probably the best drinks I've had in a long time. I'm stuffed with the best food I've eaten in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend the Outpost.

I'm visiting my Brother. I'm from Michigan went to dinner last night here the staff makes you feel at home and the food was delicious and above. I will recommend this place to anyone.

Today I tried Shrimp and Grits for my first time. I mean I am a southern girl so I have tasted then before. It's just not something I've ever ordered. Week with the wait. They were fantastic! And their cheese curds I could make a meal of them! Delicious!! If you haven't tried The Outpost yet what are you waiting for? Get on over there and enjoy!!

I wish I had taken pics of my burger! Hands down the best homemade/handmade cheeseburger I've had in years! Very tasty. Just yummy and juicy! The fried green tomatoes were just like my mama used to make! The associates were super friendly. Service was quick but didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend trying them out! I will definitely be going back!
