A couple owns this place. It is open 7 days a week. This is the only bait shop in about 5O miles. They has all kind of live bait, to include minnows. There is plenty of snacks, sports drinks, and sodas. The shop is located withing 2 miles of the Prairie Lake boat ramp.

Stopped by on a random weekday on our way to the Illinois River, and this was place was open and had everything we needed. The owner took care of us, and we will definitely be back next time we are heading to the Illinois River.

This is the only place i go for my bait and fishing stuff. He has everything you need if he don't if you ask he will order it for you. Very nice and friendly people that own it.
