I've purchased two bone in ribeyes and a brisket from Marfa Meats. Both cuts were outstanding and of the exact quality I expected. The staff is super helpful and Christy is great to work with. The local, small town butcher has returned. Do yourself a favor when buying meat; Buy local. Christy will hook it up.

Christy was very knowledgeable, very personable.
She very is great at her job and I will see if I can't help her business grow.
I bought beef steak, beef tongue and goat steaks.
The beef tongue was excellent, very good quality of meat.

Picked up some meat on my way home from Big Bend after seeing a flyer at Frama. What a wonderful spot and Christy was so fun and helpful to talk with. Everything I brought back has been so, so good... The ribeye was a delicious treat, my mom was over the moon that I found beef tongue, and we made really fun burgers from the jalapeño/cheddar burgers for the super bowl. Will def be adding this spot as a must when traveling back from SW Texas.

Reviewing two items from our five part order.

First the sage breakfast sausage…good looking bulk…packaged so you can see what you bought…excellent pork flavor, savory sage…perfect for breakfast sandwiches…bought 2 one pound packages…will double my order the next time…5 stars…

Second, bone-in chops…big, beautiful chops…each chop feeds two…very flavorful and tender…good marbling, cooked up well…5 stars

Picked up some Beef Cheeks and found that they had been expertly butchered. Reine was so very helpful and indulged an old chef in talking beef! Will be back again, and again, and again....you get the picture. Very lucky to have Marfa Meats in our little town.

I am so it was in Google maps. Even though there is a sign, I would not have seen it. They have s good variety of locally sourced meat. Haven't had any yet.

Very nice atmosphere prices are good for quality meats alot of cuts I had never heard of definitely worth the drive
