Big Daddy's Real Pit Bar B Que

While searching for quality BBQ in the area around Ft Rucker this fine establishment popped up on my Google search. From the second I saw the building in the search it screamed BBQ to me. The atmosphere inside was simple and decorated with many pictures of service members from Ft Rucker. The hostess/waitress was very kind and attentive. She provided us with all the sweet tea we could drink. The BBQ was great, you could tell that it was cooked by someone who mastered the craft of BBQ. Not over seasoned and perfectly smokey. The pulled pork was tender and moist and married very well with offered sauces. The chicken plate came as two chicken quarters again seasoned very well and perfectly smoked. The best part of the meal were the pork ribs. They were individually cut which made for easy eating and the dry rub was fantastic. They were juicy and tender with just the right amount of fatty rib goodness. They were amazing with or without sauce. The sides we chose were both beans and coleslaw both of which were great. This place was a hidden treasure for us traveling a long way from home. Big Daddy himself was in the kitchen and was very friendly and appreciative of our buisness. We promised to tell our friends about him and his great little BBQ joint. I'm very glad we were able to find it and if I ever find myself in the area again I will definitely visit.

I went to Enterprise for family and I said I wanted some good food and they me on over to Big Daddy's and from opening the door I felt welcomed. I was greeted with smile and seated there after there's was no wait for Big Daddys ribs on this day it was my lucky day . I place my order had some lemonade and next thing I knew I was smacking my lips around a Big Daddy ribs, and when I say cooked to perfect and melt in your mouth watering ribs I mean it in everyway. You'd be robbing yourself of a great meal and experience if you came to Enterprise and didn't stop into try Big Daddy's. I enjoyed my whole meal and the sauce the sauce mild or hot is delicious, I had the pleasure of enjoying my meal and being able to get a picture in with the famous Big Daddy and his staff, also learing that for 25 years they've gave a toy drive for the community with an article posted in the local paper (got mines signed) lol it was truly my pleasure I felt so welcomed. I highly recommend this place for the food the service and the would experience. Make sure you say Jersey sent yah 😉

Maaaannnnn let me tell you. This barbecue was sent from the bbq gods. If you haven’t had this, you’re missing out. Just an overall amazing restaurant with friendly service. I highly recommend. The baked beans is absolutely my favorite. I would post a picture but I’m almost done with all of my food. Shoot I might still post a picture. I’m usually not a big bbq fan. But by golly, this is amazing.

My My My 🤤 I have never had a BBQ potato before today and I have to say I am so so glad I followed Ms Shelly's suggestion, the potato was on point!! Loaded with butter and sour cream and topped with LOTS of quality meat! The potato salad is also made from scratch and oh so good!

Delicious pulled pork sandwich. And the sauce is unreal. Big Daddy takes pride in his secret sauce recipe and he’ll tell you all about it. He and his wife are a staple in the community. Great BBQ and family atmosphere! I’ll be back for the ribs!

My review is about 3 weeks late, but I love that place. The atmosphere was very welcoming and people there was super nice. The food was great even eating it about 40 minutes later. Nothing bad to say about this place. Also the place was very clean. I highly recommend.

We love Big Daddy's! The price is always right. And the amount ya get is superb! We have yet to find any fat in Big Daddy's bbq. Great folks and a nice place to just eat and enjoy. And you can even sit outside and eat on the long benches, while enjoying the shade and nature. Love it! I will keep coming back.

We ordered 2 jumbo sandwiches and 2 potatoes. And 1lb of pork to take home. 😋

Had the loaded baked potato it was delicious. It’s been a while since I last ate here because they used to not accept debit cards, but they do now! Didn’t disappoint will be sure to come back a lot more.

Decided to treat my Mother-in-law to some good ol BBQ and we weren't disappointed at all! Everything was delicious! I ordered the pork plate with baked beans, potato salad and sweet tea for $15. We'll definitely be coming back for more of that deliciousness and for more of that sweet tea that was the bomb dot com!😊

I’m by no means a bbq expert, but I know what tastes good and what doesn’t and the food here definitely tastes good. The pork was moist with just the right amount of bark and the ribs had the most amazing rub that had a hint of sweet and was flavorful enough to eat without sauce. The waitress was a down to earth, warm, and friendly as was Big Daddy who was in the kitchen. They don’t have a crazy expansive menu but they do what they offer well. Drink options are sweet or unsweetened tea and water. The inside is definitely like you’re in someone’s southern home.

I stopped by Big Daddy’s after finding it on Google. They have some of the best BBQ I have ever had! Definitely going back next time I am in town.

I don't know how anyone in their right mind leaves a bad review here. THE best pulled pork I've EVER had. The hot sauce is where it's at. Fantastic people and a very homey atmosphere. Big Daddy obviously takes pride in making that food. Great sweet tea, too! They're sweethearts and we will be back & spread the word. Had an amazing sandwich, baked beans and slaw plus a sweet tea for $8. Phenomenal.

I'm at a loss for words. The most amazing pulled pork I've ever had. The friendliest owners I've ever met. The best hot barbecue sauce I've ever tasted. Extremely inexpensive. Seriously contemplating writing google to extend the star scale so I can give more than 5 stars.

Big Daddy makes the best bbq, 5 hours after eating and hands still smell like a smoker. Meat was so tender and delicious. On top of the great food you can buy the signature sauce. The service is amazing, and they care about your experience. Look forward to coming back!

If you want a classic hometown place to enjoys a smoked BBQ pork sandwich, this is the place. Just a special place to be any day of the week . Feel better, laugh longer and smile. Because you have just eaten the best Pork plate that is available in the county.,

The service was above and beyond, everyone was extremely friedly. We got the loaded potato and ribs and everything tasted amazing. The portions were VERY VERY gracious. We will definitely make a trip again from Dothan just to eat here, it was definitely very well worth the drive.

This is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. The sweet sauce is better than perfect. This isn't just food, it's art. Although I haven't been in this area in years, I still talk about them often to coworkers who live in that part of the state.

If I'm ever back in town, I won't leave until I've eaten here again.

Don't understand the reviews that are 1 star. This is by far the best place I have ever ate when it comes to bar-b-que. Yes you have to get your own drink and yes they may not have what's on the menu at the time. You have to take into consideration that food is expensive especially when its wasted. The owners have been there for a long time, they can predict what sells on what days. You wouldn't cook supper at home if your family wasn't going to eat it just to throw it away. Big Daddy is awesome. The entire time we were there, he talked with us. He genuinely cared that we were his guest. The guy he has helping him in the kitchen is awesome also. He came out and gave us our food and was extremely polite and made sure we were satisfied. The atmosphere in there did not feel like I was at a restaurant but like I was invited to eat at someone's house which to me makes it great. Big Daddy has been through alot in the past few years and it's a blessing he is still with us much less a blessing he is still working and serving people. Awesome person at heart. The food was excellent. You can't get ribs or bbq like that anywhere here. There aren't enough stars to give to this establishment!!! The food was not "cotton mouth" dry either. As far as the dirty establishment reviews, I can't say I have ever eaten here and it's been dirty. The guy in the kitchen was cleaning the entire time we were there which was over an hr due to everyone in our party talking to Big Daddy. The table and floor was clean and the restrooms were also.

We still go and love the baked potatoes with pork, butter, cheese and sour cream. Ribs are great if you can get there before they run out

We don't take bbq lightly & we're always looking for the real deal. Big Daddy's IS Real Deal BBQ!! Owners are great! Everything was delish but baked potato with pork is a must & the ribs...oh yes!!
