Dr Lamenik is awesome! My A1C is down 4 points over three years. She’s been helpful with all my medical needs, attentive and caring.

Good female doctors. Actually care and will work with you. Book in advance or a longer appointment if you need more than one thing seen to. It how things work these days so much paperwork they have ta do for you for insurance. But they will do that and more. Lots of time with the doctor. They’ll take great care of you.

We had to get an ultrasound in Escanaba (we are from marquette) due to Marquette being booked until Dec 17th. We haven't ever loved getting ultrasounds during our pregnancies due to the staff in Marquette being less than pleasant. However, the staff in Escanaba was beyond amazing and helpful. I wish we could go there everytime!

Always able to get an appointment within a timely manor. Good treatment.

Had differences at first but when i suddenly had a big issue the focus was on me getting better, was going to leave because i didnt like the facility but my doctor is very good

I saw Dr. Lamenik for the past two years. Thankfully only for a physical. She is very nice but I don’t find her to be very thorough. I have hypothyroidism and I told her at my first physical that if my level goes over 4 I go into atrial fibrillation. My level came back at 4.3 and her staff called and said it was fine. Since I was a new patient she asked about my last pelvic exam and I told her I thought it had been four years. She said she would look at my transferred records and let me know if I needed to come back. Never heard from her. The next year when I went in for my physical the MA said I need the exam but the Dr. said according to Medicare I did not need it even though it had been five years now. She wouldn’t do it. She had me go for a bone density exam and the result came back with osteopenia. Never heard from her so two months later I called and spoke with her LPN. The Dr. had her ask me about calcium. I told her I had been on it for 20 years. So then she asked if it had vitamin D in it. It does. She said let’s draw a level. I went and had my vitamin D level drawn and two weeks later I still had not heard from the Dr. but I got a letter in the mail saying I had not had it drawn.
At my second year physical the Dr ordered a cardiac panel only which I was not aware of. I called and asked why she didn’t draw a CBC which is important for a physical. Her response was they would draw it if I wanted it.
I have worked with physicians my entire career so I have a bit of knowledge of good vs bad or lazy doctors. I will not be going back to this practice and do not recommend it.

I make appointments over the phone but when i get there (and someone is actually there) they have no record of my appointment. Also no one is ever there. I've stopped 3 days in a row now and it's dark.

do not recommend this place!!!! had called first before making a appointment to get a cost, explaining that my insurance would do nothing till deductable was met, so would be paying out of pocket, on a low income, only needed 4 prescriptions, a new patiant. was quoted 226 to 345 and pay up front 50% discount so 113 to 172. paid out 216 (44 more) then quote. now they are billing me for 43.24 more. if doubled 519.00 though the docter was good this place will lie just to get your business and money, do not care if you have informed up front that money is a issue.

Great Doctors, but horribly run business. I went there for a sinus infection, they wrote me a script, paid my bill in full (self pay, 50% discount day of service), then they decided they wanted to charge me more and sent me another bill for an additional $36. I disputed it and they came back with the original bill I paid was just an estimate. They did no additional work after I left as it was an extremely straight forward visit.

Girlfriend suffers from ruhmatoid arthritis, she was searching for a doctor to help manage the pain. The doctor removed her from all of the medications she was taking, now she is suffering even more.
I think this doctor is a sick individual who shouldn't be practicing.
I wouldn't want a dog suffering as much as my girlfriend is right now.

Do not recommend Dr Varoni even for a get, seems very incompetent.

Ashley hockin smelled like marijunna the whole time while meeting with her, she was arrogantly rude and talk about personal details with me about the patients. I was very displeased with her professionalism I will not be coming back here.

Request an actual M.d. who went to medical school and in my experience, don't see the licenced nurse practitioner's for anything more severe than a cold.
