Captain Tom, Havana and Scout exceeded expectations for our bachelorette party private charter! My only regret is not experiencing this sooner in all the years we’ve been coming up to Caseville. We will definitely be returning for another private charter, trip to Charity Island or sunset cruise aboard the Lady of the Lake. 🙂

Our family enjoyed a Sunset Cruise on the Lady of the Lake. It was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Captain Tom was a fantastic guide, teaching us about the history of the Caseville and Sand Point areas. And Karen was a phenomenal hostess, making sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. This is the perfect way to spend a summer Saturday evening. Highly recommend!

We took the lighthouse/ sunset cruise with Explorer Charter & they were very helpful & accommodating about letting us bring our small dog. Capt. Tom gave an informative & humorous narration about the lighthouses & area that we really enjoyed. First Mate Karen was wonderful at making sure everyone had a fun time. Even Scout, the ship's dog, was welcoming! Highly recommend this cruise!

Captain Tom, First Mate Karen, and Scout were terrific. We love to see lighthouses and they made sure to get us to both Charity Island Lighthouse and Gravelly Shoal Lighthouse. Capt. Tom gave a great history and narrative along the way of the lighthouses, shipwrecks, and wildlife.

Had a wonderful evening trip with Captain Tom, Karen and Havana! Heard interesting history of the area and had great weather for watching the Caseville fireworks! It was my birthday and it was a great thing to do for it! We will book another trip again! Lisa and Mitch Gotts

We booked a sunset cruise with Captain Tom on a Tuesday afternoon. He was very accommodating. We arrived at his location. This year it happens to be his house. He has a nicely restored 1949 naval 50ft boat on his dock in his backyard. We arrived a bit early. He took the time to talk to us and tell us about himself and his experiences. At 7pm we boarded and took off. He showed us a couple canals and then took us out towards North Island to watch the sun set beyond the waters horizon. Beautiful night for it.
Its a very relaxing atmosphere. We were told to bring anything we want, i.e. Snacks, drinks, whatever.
This was a 2 hour boat ride. Well worth the $40 per person.
I would recommend anyone looking for a sunset boat ride. Give Tom a call. You won't be disappointed.

Fun boat ride great history stories awesome Island to explore fantastic dinner. Most amazing sunset on Lake Huron.

This is an absoulute must do if you are in the Caseville area.

Great cruise with awesome music

We called earlier in the week and reserved 3 spots. Upon our arrival (20 minutes early) the boat was packed. There was no way we were going to spend $120 to sit inside and not see anything (there were only 6 tiny portholes). We drove a long distance for nothing and Captain Tom couldn't have cared less. I would have paid a lot more money for a less crowded boat and a pleasant experience. Captain Tom needs to change his horrible business practices.
