The Anderson Funeral Home has served our family multiple times so we knew we would be in good hands. My brother passed away suddenly in early April 2024 in a skilled nursing facility in South Dakota. We knew it was his intent to be buried in the family plot in Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba. Anderson Funeral Homes took care of the coordination of seamlessly transporting my brother from South Dakota to Escanaba. If there were any questions on our part, Keith and Lisa were always available to answer them. We never felt any pressure and always felt reassured and respected. With a funeral and burial, there are always so many details that have to be dealt with. My mother recently passed and I called around looking for a funeral home. Anderson funeral home made the experience so much easier for me and my family. They went above and beyond for our family. Recently my brother, sister and I had the awful task of planning my mother’s funeral. Feeling lost and helpless and beyond depressed the one thing we knew was that we wanted Keith and Anderson Funeral Home to take care of the arrangements. My mother had entrusted Anderson to handle my grandmother’s arrangements and my grandmother had entrusted them to handle her mother’s. Anderson Funeral Home has been a quiet yet consistent part of my life since I was a small child and I understand why my mother and grandmother chose them. From the first phone call I had with Keith I knew my mom was in good hands and my brother, sister and I would have the support and expertise we needed to make sure her funeral would be worthy of the amazing woman she was. I cannot express how amazing Keith and Christina were, providing not only many helpful and necessary resources but also handling our pain and grief with such kindness and a genuine empathy. Losing my mother was and is the worst experience of my life but because we chose Anderson Funeral Home, Keith and Christina took care of the logistics during those first horrific days after her passing and allowed my brother, sister and I to not have to worry that things wouldn’t come together for a beautiful funeral and burial. I have never met someone who is better suited for his career path than Keith. He is a kind and gracious person and exactly who you want to be guiding you and taking care of details for the passing of your loved one. Thank you Keith and Christina!

Our funeral was from out of state and I was concerned about all the details that this entailed, especially since two funeral homes were involved, one where I live and Anderson Funeral Home. Everything went smooth! They kept us informed at all times which was important to me, since we had to travel. And they were able to help with the practical while being considerate with our emotions and spiritual needs. Very pleased with our experience during this difficult time. We are now back home and Anderson Funeral Home took care of all the details from the first time I called them until the final goodbye.

The Anderson team is kind, sincere and truly understands what your family is going through. Christina went above and beyond, putting together the most amazing slideshow of our photos, helping us with the obituary and getting us the link to purchase momentous. Many of our relatives have used Anderson to assist with the loss of a loved one and we will continue to recommend them.
