Volunteers of America Thrift Store - Corunna

I had been researching baby walkers for a couple of days and made a definite plan to stop at this specific Volunteers of America as they have always had such a variety of items & the staff is so friendly. I found myself in this busy store at the counter on Tuesday 09/05/23, in line as all customers were being waited on there and I was next in line.
The next available associate was a very cheerful young lady named Ava, who I inquired about any available walkers? She was able to find me one and I couldn't be more pleased. Ava is a standout employee who went above and beyond in customer service. She has made my little Great-granddaughter VERY HAPPY!

However, I would not recommend going on Half off Tuesday, usually the last Tuesday of the month. Way too crowded. Go the day before when they are stocking for the sale.

A top 5 thrift store in a 50 mile radius. Incredible selection of items. Most extensive media selection of ANY thrift store I’ve been to. There are consistently treasures to be found. The showcase items can be pricey but there are still deals to be found! Outside of the showcase area, the prices are very reasonable. Hardgoods for the most part $5 or less.

Thank you for such a wonderful store. I always watch for the 50% and 75% off tags on clothes for super deals. I actually love how the clothes in some areas are color coordinated. And you can always find a cute sweater for winter. Keep up the great work.

The staff is always nice and the store is 10 times better than both the stores in Lansing way more organized and cleaner I always like coming to the store

I went looking for a desk, I found a great old desk. needed just a little bit of work. they helped me load it and they're really friendly

It's a pretty nice store. Good prices and it goes towards a great cause so I don't mind shopping here- especially when they have good sales going on with their colored tags. Also usually clean and organized. Plus the staff are really helpful, polite and generally nice people.

Store is well lit, clean, and inviting. Found an enormous amount of vintage duds and house hold items. The staff was knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. It was a relaxing environment to shop in and we would drive the two hours to do it again!!

Love this place. Never know what you will find and they always have tags or color tags on sale. Plus the fitting rooms are open so you can try on stuff. The only problem us everything is all together so you gotta take the time to look for the sizes. It's not labeled small, medium, or large like goodwill.

Love this place. It's always clean & well organized. Just make sure they take the black tags off your items or you'll be coming back to the store.

This is by far the most organized thrift store I have ever been to. They sort the clothes by better and normal quality and keep everything clean. I've always found something to purchase every time I come here, and this has become my go-to location to donate my gently used items. Staff is always kind as well.

I love this store. If you love thrift shopping this is a must hit. I have been coming here for several years and it never disappoints. I go for every color change and half off everything day, the last Tuesday of every month.

VERY VERY VERY adequate amount of space, giving us that shop there so much more variety, prices can't go wrong on, and they have things that is clearly taken care of. Great helpful staff also!

Best used retail store I've ever been in. They have many brand new items still with tags on it for extremly discounted prices. Previously used items are clean & look brand new. The place is well organized. I've found many great deals time & time again here. I go to Volunteers before I go anywhere else for clothing or house goods. Most of the time they'll have what I need, if not I have to payfull price elsewhere. Thank you for all your donations, it really does help everybody!

Went here and the store was well organized, prices were excellent, selection was out of this world and the quality of the clothes was wonderful. Plus this is for our veterans, so it is a win win situation! Will definitely be back and will be telling people about this store.

You can get just about anything that you want here at a very low price. Also, your purchase helps USA Veterans. They even let you try out electronica items before you buy them!

this is the best thrift store i’ve been to! i go thrifting at least once a week, and i always end up coming back here! their selection is incredible and i always find really great quality and name brand clothing. clothes are super cheap and the colors of the week help a lot, i will always come back here.

Stopped to try out the local fare for pizza that I had passed on my way to a job stripping and waxing of floor's. And got a 16" pepperoni pie. 🤯 I work it pizza hut and found someone that out pizza's the hut🤔📠📠📠
