I do not understand peoples negative reviews where they complained they had to wait around in a chair. No matter where you bank, you will likely have to wait at times to see a teller. Wouldn't you rather wait in a chair? I have always found the staff here to be extremely accommodating and helpful. I have seen them go out of their way to help an elderly gentleman complete his banking. Great job overall and I highly recommend Citizens!

I dont understand the negative scores. LOL...i like the chairs. I have a bad back and hip so the chairs are a welcome sight!
Been banking with Citizens for years. No bad experiences. This new location on Lapeer rd in Lake Orion ihad been great for me.

I really liked having Citizens inside the Kroger. It is harder to get to now in its current location.

The second star is due to the quality people that work there, particularly Eric. Since moving it is horrible. One teller, with three folks standing around not able to help? I am looking for another bank.

This branch location is horrible. It used to be good when it was inside Kroger, and they had better tellers. Now the tellers that work here aren’t very bright and lazy. I opened a new student checking account a month ago at the bank. I asked if I would receive free checks because of this promotion they have. The lady confirmed that I would receive free checks mailed to me. It has been a month. I called the bank and asked where are my free checks and the teller over the phone said that deal doesn’t apply to student checking account. This is a lie. The teller was just lazy and didn’t want to do it.

My experience with this bank has been very poor. The staff was rude, lazy and ultimately incompetent. When i gave them instructions from my loan officer to do a wire transfer ( which he had written down word for word on what to do in very easy steps ) they asked me to to do their job and try and figure out what everything meant. And on top of that after opening an account 2 weeks prior with the same individual they had no idea who i was and if i had an account there. They proceeded to question me like a criminal and where upset that I didn't have an appointment when i had found out the night before id be closing on my house that day. In conclusion i am convinced the staff here is not competent enough to achieve a good relationship with the customers.

Horrible branch, ATMs never work properly, started cashing my paycheck elsewhere because they close so early, deposited checks take forever to clear, pushy staff. Wish they were still at Kroger.

This is the worst branch. They were great and convenient when located inside the Lake Orion Kroger. Now it is one teller and then they greet you to show you a chair to wait. Come on. There are employees there but they are just standing around. I am looking to find a bank that has more locations and better customer service.

Been with Citizens for 15 years, but am closing my account. Constantly frustrated with a poor customer experience. Their technology is always behind (eg, mobile banking, bill pay, etc). My most recent frustration was due to not being able to initiate a wire transfer unless I went into a branch which seems archaic. I transferred my money into an account at a different bank that same day and was able to initiate the wire transfer with no problem. I highly recommend a larger institution that is able to keep up or a local credit union that are more customer friendly over Citizens.

I opened an account with Citizens Bank on a promotion that they sent me, "Open an account with us and we will give you . . . " Well the promotion was over April 26 and I am still waiting for the money they promised.

They deposited fiances check into someone else's bank account....how does that even happen? Them was on hold for 1 1/2 hours trying to get help. Only to be told a claim was in and had to wait 10-14 days. What kind of bank is this. Pulling everything from this bank to move to another not to mention there Debit cards are cheap and barely work.
