Hannaford

Love this store, I worked here through my first few years of college. The people here are all locals who work very hard and do an amazing job with their everyday service. Dedicated to quality, customer experience, and cleanliness! Large store with great selection. Love their produce, bakery, deli, meat/seafood, and pharmacy. Plenty of carts available. Ample parking. Grocery pickup available. Open late. The only drawback is their prices. Certainly not the cheapest in the area.

I'm autistic as is my friend who just moved here. He loved the store because it's not brightly lit and the music wasn't loud. Very clean store, employees were very friendly. I usually shop at another store because I was told the prices were higher at Hannaford but that depends what you buy. We found specialty soap so much cheaper, coke was cheaper than anyone else and he found his favorite West coast brands there.

Hannaford is such a great place to shop and where I go for all of my grocery needs. I can always rely on Hannaford to have fresh ingredients and friendly service. The Herkimer, NY location is my favorite and time and time again they go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. No one like them in the business. I love supporting Hannaford.

I love coming to this location, always have great variety of goods. The produce and meat departments are great here and the self checkouts are really easy to use. The employees here are nice and friendly and the store is well kept. It’s honestly my favorite local grocery store.

The thing I love about Hannafords is that you can find different kinds of food that you can't find in other stores. Their prices are ok. Their meat is great and the prices are better than Walmart! Can you believe that?! I'd rather eat meat that I know is fresh from their department. Their produce is also much fresher than anywhere else!

My choice for fresh foods in Herkimer, this is what a "super-market" should be. Deli, meat, fish, produce and bakery are superior to the large "super-store" alternative. Nice, courteous people help you with whatever you need and get you going on your way with a smile!

Never any issues. Helpfulness care about you. Little bit busy. Few things sold out. Those will get restocked. Stockers friendly helpful. Clean pleasant busy ,though atmosphere of they care about what their customers seen think and want from this grocery chain.

It is a pleasure shopping at the Herkimer Hannaford store. Never once have I had anything less than friendly service. The deli, meat, and fish departments always help with a smile and the check-out staff is top notch all the way. Thank you Hannaford!

Its clean and the associates are very friendly and always available. The pharmacy staff is very polite as well. This store doesn't get very crowded even during busy times so its a great store to get your nessessities . They also offer many products that you nay have a hard time finding at other big box stores. The variety has always been my favorite aspect of this grocery store.

I love this store. They have the best deli selections as well as fresh hummus/tabouli and grape leaves that I always stock up on. Around here there aren't many stores that offer the option let alone the variety. While they have different brands and healthier options than Wal-Mart, I choose to shop here because of the overall attitude. About 4 years ago I began to lose the ability to walk. Gradual but the last 2 years I barely left the house to shop. Wal-Mart didn't care how much I suffered at the check-out but Hannaford, they helped me unload my cart if I needed it. If I couldn't lift a case of water while shopping, they would. I forgot butter and one time said it out loud, the man bagging groceries asked what kind I wanted and went to get it for me. No one does things like that anymore. The cashiers at Wal-Mart barely want to cash you out or bag your groceries.

Even though prices are climbing, I'll pay the extra if I'm treated like a human being. I've had surgery and am on the mend but it's nice to go somewhere that the people remember you and while no one wants to be at work, they still put on a smile.

Very nice grocery store, the clerks/managers are always helpful & give great customer service! This is my go to place for all my meats! The butchers are very helpful & good at what they do.. Love all the natural/organic products! You can find gourmet & unique items here as well! 👍💜😊

This has got to be the biggest Hannafords I have ever been to, and damn was it an amazing store! Because the store is huge, it has a lot more shelve room, thus, more choice of products! Everything was spaced out nicely so nothing gets overwhelmingly crowded, and it was quick to learn to navigate through the store for the first time. The prices were pretty good and we got some nice quality items here. It sucks that this is 40 minutes away from where I am, I would come here every day if I could.

This store has a fantastic selection of the freshest products in my area. The Hannaford rewards have only added to positive feelings i have for this place. Everything is easy to find and the shelves make sense unlike most stores. Whatever you can't find the employees are more than willing to help find it. Overall this place surpasses a five star rating to me.

Clean, neat and organized. Friendly service. A touch more expensive than Walmart, but the quality of the meat, produce and many other products is well worth it.

I love it here. Angus beef is amazing!! Great employees!!! Not over crowded!!! Variety of different items. Wide variety of organic and gluten free products. Costs a little more, but it's worth it :)

Why would you go to Walmart if you have Hannaford near by? I absolutely love this store! They have a great selection of everything, hard to find brands (they even carry fresh dill), you can often find amazing deals. If you download their app, they have a coupon section, some coupons are “free” items. I got some free baby crackers yesterday and 5 off 10 any baby food (including formula). Thank you Hannaford! I only wish you had a self serve water filter or cheaper filtered water option, if you do, that will be the only grocery store I go to!!
