Hales Mills Country Club

This past weekend, my brother and his husband held their wedding reception at Hales Mills—I cannot speak highly enough of the food and staff! The sausage stuffed mushrooms were divine. The prime rib? Heavenly. And even better was the waitstaff—particularly Misty. Her level of professionalism was top notch. Thank you so much HMCC for helping my brother with his dream wedding ❤

I cannot thank you enough for how accommodating your staff was to us in the planning and extensive decorating of my son's wedding reception. Jeanine, the Event Coordinator and Misty, her Manager, the waitresses and bartenders were absolute sweethearts, very welcoming and fun! The food was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! We had so many complements about the dinner and hors d'oeuvres which made for a beautiful evening. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Best prime rib in the area. Chef is not afraid to season the food and it makes a huge difference. Lots of options and everything is delicious 😋 staff is courteous and friendly.

Dinners are above average. I had prime rib that was so tender, you could cut it with fork. Not fatty either. Ordered a steak. Got a steak! And the petit size filled more than half the plate. Garlic mashed potatoes were on the money delicious! Prices are a bit high. However, the quality of the food, the presentation of the meal, the sides, the attention of the staff - all makes the cost well worthy. I love coming to their buffet specials... Breakfast, luncheons, dinners. Again, you go away hungry it's your own fault and even in buffet setting, food is fantastic.

They hosted my parents surprise retirement party and did a fabulous job from start to finish. All of our guests were extremely pleased with their meals. Janine is amazing to work with planning any event. Super professional, friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. The entire staff is amazing. We will always use Hales Mills for any other events in the future. They make planning large parties easy and fun!

Every other time I've been there for a meal, they never disappoint. I've never had a bad meal there, everything is always exceptionally good. I highly recommend.

Both of our meals were superb, with my prime rib being one of the best I ever had. The service was excellent as well. Our server was very pleasant and friendly.

A great golf course with very friendly members. Restaurant is well run a has a friendly and very capable staff. I think that their salad specials are great, I also love the Ahi tuna salad entree.

It is also a class A venue for any event.

It's always a pleasure to have lunch here. Helen is a terrific waitress & always knows just what we want. The chef couldn't be better, & aims to please. Delicious food for the right price, and they never ever rush you.
We've been going here for several years and will continue to do so.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. We've driven past here for years, that was a mistake. Our dinners were great! It started with the salads, which had mixed greens and plenty of other veggies with croutons. My wife had the Ahi Tuna and I had the Dressed Haddock special (stuffed with crab and covered with lobster sauce). Both were very good. We'll be back.

Golf course is a hidden jem. Magnificent views, and spectacular course conditions.

Very nice. Haven't been in a long time. When you hear FOUR definitely look. Lol almost caught 1 to the head. Never happened before good time though

Hales Mills is a hidden gem. We had dinner there last night with wife's parents. The whole meal was great and I am hard to please, We eat out alot. I love food and I want it good. We started off with hand cut fried mozzarella and "Bacon Steak". Both were great, the bacon steak was 5 oz of pork belly on crostini it was amazing. My wife had seafood chowder, it was so good her and her dad each got a bowl to go. For our entrees everyone else had fish that looked great and they all enjoyed. I ordered the Prime NY strip steak. It was wonderfully prepared, well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. To me thats is a rarity, as I find too many restaurants can not cook a steak. If you are looking for an opulent fine dining establishment this is not the place. If simple decor, great service and food that can compare with the top high end restaurants in Saratoga and Albany at half the price, this is a must.

Had dinner here with a small group of friends on a Saturday evening. Food was good, service was excellent, and the bonus was live music by Aaron Mitler. We had a great time! A couple of things could use improvement: The atmosphere is non-existent. Also, just as the music was beginning a large group walked in and hovered around the bar. This would have been fine except that they were quite close to us, standing so close that it was uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a very nice time!

We attended a reception here. The place is well kept and the food was delicious and hot which is important when serving 150 people. The bathrooms could be made larger for hosting events but all in all they do a good job. On a side note I've golfed the course and it is excellently. Beautiful grounds tight greens and challenging holes that even a novice can play, it just takes a bit longer.

My boyfriend and I went to Hales Mills Country Club for a light dinner.I am so happy we did. The service was wonderful and the food was beyond excellent. We will be back soon.

Our Church held Our 1st Gala there last week The food and the atmosphere was outstanding. By the way Our Church is called Love City Church, which is in Gloversville New York. Our service is at 10 am on Sunday morning. Come join us for a New Experience in being felt 'Loved' from when you pull into the parking lot too being greeted by Our Volunteers
