My family owned homes on the shores of Lake George for 115 years. This photo was the southerly view from our gazebo at our camp on Tongue Mountain. Best swimming in the world.

One of the most beautiful places on earth, and no don’t expect there to be facilities everywhere in a park that has millions of acres, place is wild and hopefully always will be, remember Leave No Trace always!

Know before you go! Try to decide what you and / or your group want to do before driving into the park. If possible, have reservations in hand to save time and confusion. Summer is the busiest time of year. My personal choice times to visit are spring and autumn. My favorite four activities are 1) slow gentle hikes to look for wild flowers and tree flowers or fruit; 2) visiting historic sites; 3) shopping at the outlets and 4) leisurely boat rides.

Hmmm review on the entire park? That’s tough. Let’s sum it up as.... if you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, or any other out door activity, I will guarantee you’ll find it here in the expansive 6.6 million acre park. Idk look me up on YouTube while you’re at it folks. Enjoy!

Scenic. Unfortunately i do not have any pictures as i was totally taking in the beauty of it. Just go and relax. Might get busy late afternoons.

The thing is, some people are really dumb. I see some people drove to this exact point and were disappointed. People should understand this is a random location within the boundary of the park. Technically you are in the park if you went to this point. You should find a specific trailhead or a view point within the park and drive there based on what you want to do.

What a fantastic day with around 30 friends, and new ones. Check out the area people. A lot to see and do. Side by side today for just the 4 of us was $13.00. Only needed gas

Great place to ride your motorcycle. Nice sweepers. Great views. Plenty of places to pull over for lunch. I have never encountered any hostility for cycles throughout the region.

Very beautiful. Huge park, although some towns in it, but these towns seem to fit right in. Great hikes, and great history. Very nice views from the summits.

Beautiful wilderness sprawling 6 million acres! Untouched and pristine shorelines, rivers, lakes and ponds. One of the most beautiful places in the county, even the world.

Adirondack Park consists 6 million acres of land of wilderness area, forest, lakes, etc. This park has no dedicated entrance nor any fee. It’s open 24 hours. So, don’t follow google maps because it’s a random point in this park.

An excellent way to appreciate nature and all off the joy that the outdoors can provide. World-class hiking, skiing, fishing, and more await you in the Adks.

I live in Lake Placid which is in the center of the Adirondack Park. This park is the best deal around. Hundreds of hiking camping canoeing and many other Outdoor Sports opportunities. And it's all free unlike the federal parks. Free to everyone. Come and enjoy.

Such a treasure in upstate NY. I had the opportunity to go there weekly when I was in school. The hiking trails were awesome and it really was in the middle of no where.......amazing nature

Picturesque mountains and crystal clear lakes are two descriptors that sum up the scenic Adirondack Park. You will find great hiking and kayaking here. There are also interesting venues like the Adirondacks Museum in Blue Mountain Lake.
