We stopped here on a Sunday at around lunchtime during a long drive. There were no other customers - something that’s hard to comprehend as the menu is varied, the atmosphere is great and food was excellent!
I wish this place lots of customers and that it will survive!!

Found a "Burner"restaurant had to stop! We split a patty melt and fries and OMG! What a great find one of the top cooked tasting burger we've had in a loong time. Oh and the fries were fresh cut fries and cooked perfectly! And in true "Burner" fashion we were gifted an awesome magnet!!

We found this driving into town for a quick bite. The food is so good. Definitely homemade items. Owner so friendly. She gave us a muffin for the road and it had to be one of the best muffins I ever ate. Great little town very friendly

Nice people great food. The apple pie was perfect The smokehouse burger was flame kissed and perfect and the tater tots were golden and great.

Great breakfast. There were only two people in the whole restaurant one cooking and one waiting tables…we were a large group, and they did a fabulous job keeping our water full, our coffee full… the food was prepared well. We will be back!

What a great roadside eatery…good food ,great service…..and semi parking on the adjacent street!!!!

We just moved to the area from a large city and stopped by Pappy Gander for lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere felt like a small town diner. We really enjoyed it and plan on returning.

It was the perfect lunch. Well prepared, reasonably priced, excellent service. Very enjoyable lunch. Glad we stopped in.

Homestyle food with a comfortable atmosphere. Absolutely delicious. David took our order and cooked our food. He was personable and kind. I look forward to going again sometime!

The place was empty when we got there so seating was easy. Apparently, one lady was doing all the jobs. She was very kind and friendly, sharing local news and history with us as we ate. The food was good and obviously freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend.

Very good breakfast, good biscuits and gravy, large sausage patty and perfect eggs.

This place was Great !
We loved the Food. Had Breakfast of Polish Sausage with Homemade Potatoes and 2 Eggs. Jill had Bacon and Eggs and she also loved the Homemade Potatoes.
They have a Oregon Lottery Area and a Very Nice Lady running the place in the morning. Stop in if your in Merrill or just passing thru .

Stopped off here early in the morning for breakfast and coffee (both of which were top notch) and left with a few stories and extra stops to make on my trip. 10/10 impeccable place, would recommend.

Good breakfast and unique decor

I have eaten at much fancier places than this but they didn't have nearly the character and atmosphere of this place.

Little family owned restaurant that we wandered across on our trip. I had the diet special. Simple but tasty, and smaller portion than most restaurant meals, ideal for those of us who lack portion control.

Quaint little cafe/bar right on the main street thru town. Wonderful service plus great home made style meal. More than reasonably priced..comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend it as a great place to stop, rest and have a good meal.

While traveling from Vegas to Victoria BC, Canada, we stopped in here for lunch after fueling up! As one of our group was not feeling well and though a trooper she had to leave the table for fresh air. The Staff was immediately helpful and provided a to go dish and extra crackers for the "Sickly" one we were dragging back to Canada! The Staff at Pappy Gander's were as prompt and caring as possible and their attendance left us amazed at the combined quality and service provided to us on a blustery day in January! The Decor was also engaging as we were able to smile at all the hunting knicknacks that abound in the interior and on the walls! Our Friend was much recovered after the meal and the rest of the journey passed quickly with much remembrance's of the staff and food at Pappy Ganders & Co's restaurant! 5/5 Stars!!!!
