Super 8 by Wyndham Alturas

I have been traveling to Alturas monthly and staying at the Super 8 has been a great experience each time. Staff has been super friendly and helpful each and every visit. The rooms have always been clean and I appreciate having reliable internet as my children come with me and they need to complete schoolwork and attend school class Zoom. I definitely recommend Super 8 if you find yourself in Alturas, CA.

Great experience. Great staff for the location. The property was well lit at night.
The entryway has only a 7' clearance. Use the second driveway on the side street for large vehicles.

Managers are nice the staff are nice the room is nice rite aid is just across the street among other places like a gas station etc. I am now a resident out here my land is up in the mountains they say the weather gets terrible out here this would be my first winter but if you got the money you would love it here.

This Super 8 has some of the best customer service I've experienced at any hotel, anywhere! It was great to encounter honest and kind people being nice to their guests. Both employees I spoke with were friendly and welcoming, and genuinely interested in helping make my stay the most comfortable it could be. The young lady that checked me in was happy to suggest some of her favorite places in town for food, and the man that check me out and got my receipt was cheery and friendly.

The room was above expectations, especially for the price. Nothing fancy, but everything was functioning and clean. The heating/AC system was a little confusing and could maybe have had some clearer instructions, but other than that the room was everything you could hope for at this price point.

Lastly, the location was very good; within walking distance of most things in town. I was able to talk to a couple different places and it was nice to not have to drive.

This is a really nice place. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Dom, at the front desk is super. We will stay again. Thanks for a super relaxing stay.

Our overall stay was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious and the safe were very nice, professional and attentive. There was an issue with the shower getting scalding hot when another source of water was turned on. I reported it and hopefully it gets fixed before someone's kiddo get burned. That being said, I would still recommend it.

A friend was caught in bad weather in the mountains with no GPS and needed to find a nearby hotel. Big thanks to Donovan for prompt and courteous help with the situation. I did not stay at the hotel, so cannot comment on anything besides the stellar customer service, but being willing to be involved in a 3 way phone call to facilitate a late night accommodation is certainly noteworthy and greatly appreciated.

Nice, totally renovated hotel. Staff could not have been more accommodating, and carried out bags happily from our RV to our second floor room. We only asked if there was an elevator, and the night manager (tom) gladly assisted us. Nice accommodation s, great WIFI, tv, clear restroom... Even the windows are new... Home run choice!

Best night's sleep I've had away from home in a long time. I've paid a LOT more for a LOT less. This is a wonderful place to stay on every level. Great staff. Great breakfast. Incredibly clean. Very quiet too!

Clean. I think this motel is nicer than the Best Western in town. The rooms are larger too. But no Kleenex in rooms. When in Alturas, this is the best place to stay...in our opinion.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, spacious and easy to call the front desk for any problems in the rooms. Great service. Close to a Rite Aid and plenty of walking distance from thai food, Mexican and Italian.

Room was a nice size everything clean. The room was extremely warm given the fact it was snowing. They do allow pets for a small additional fee, well worth it,

Fairly clean spacious rooms, and quiet. Continental breakfast. Been here twice now & no complaints. Good for a city so isolated.

Clean comfortable rooms, well kept property, rooms for under $100, everything I expect from a super 8. I stay on the road 3 days a week for work and I frequent super 8 motels, I don't stay in Alturas much but this will be my go to spot. There's also room to park a few big trucks, RV's, or trailers in the parking lot.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating. I will stay there in the future. Rooms were very clean with coffee and fridge.

Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. I would stay here again. Note it is not a 5 star hotel, it is old, but it has updates and the staff work hard to keep it clean.

Price is reasonable, rooms are well kept and comfortable, staff is super friendly and genuinely accommodating. Close to grocery & drug stores, gas stations and just a really nice place to stay in Alturas.
