What I love about Harvest Host is the opportunity to meet other travelers. The owners, Ric and Rosemary were so delightful and gave us a tour and answered any questions. Greeted us with a sack to feed the Alpacas and a sack with two fresh baked cookies. The store is filled with beautiful handmade gifts and postcards of their animals. It was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely come again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here as part of the Harvest Hosts. We dropped in on our way through Clovis during the pandemic, so we had to socially distance from everyone, but the owners were delightful and inviting. The alpacas and other animals were all curious about us and we were able to feed the alpacas with food provided by the owners. They have a little store with lots of cute stuff, including a bunch of stuff made with alpaca fiber, and even fresh eggs from the chickens. The area to park our vehicle was huge and easy to get in and out of for us.

Their Adopt-A-Paca program is fantastic!! I sponsored Cinnamon for my mom and Rosemary was so wonderful throughout the whole process. She contacted me via text and email regarding the program, and sent the welcome packet discreetly so I can surprise my mom. I cannot say enough good things about how anmazing Rosemary is (she does everything herself!) as well as the program as a whole. I hope one day soon we will be able to visit the farm and meet Cinnamon in person!

We loved Windrush Alpacas! We got to help with morning chores and feed the animals! Bucket list check off complete! The farm store is charming and sweet. Cute kid crafts and trinkets our 6 year old loved and my husband got a cozy pair of alpaca socks! Definitely worth the visit!!!!

I contacted windrush to see about a virtual call for my families across various time zones. Rosemary was super kind, considerate and just an overall stellar person who understood the complexity of planning such an event. We exchanged multiple emails to coordinate and ultimately, day of both calls, she and the farm animals made our day. During my research, I contacted 3-4 other farms and a couple offered timezones that was a little more suitable. But choosing windrush was a no brainer because Rosemary made all the difference. We can't wait to see them in person.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For customer service, organized scheduling, donation options and processing, and last but not least... Rosemary and farm animals.

What an amazing place!! They give you so many details about the alpacas, llamas, and even the horse. We went on the hour tour, and it was definitely worth every penny. We even got to feed the alpacas llamas and horse. Such a lovely place with lovely owners!

stayed the night here thru Harvest Host. the owners were wonderful and told us all about their farm. it was rather cold and windy and they still took their time to educate us about their herd and and other animals on the farm. they also gave us some excellent cookies. i should have asked for more cookies.

We stayed the night in our camper van and couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more. Rosemary and Rick were very gracious hosts and it’s clear that they’re very passionate about their animals. We loved learning more about the alpacas, visiting the gift shop, and getting to know the hosts. Highly, highly recommend!

I purchased some alpaca socks with grips so I can walk around the house wearing them. We sent them as Christmas gifts and everyone loved them. Windrush Alpacas is a delightful place to do business. Plus if the weather is ok, there are some great alpacas to visit
I love going out there!

Windrush Alpacas was a wonderful surprise and an absolute delight! Rosemary and Rick elevate the HH idea to a new level of personal attention and service. Parking is in a generous grassy area near the alpaca pens. When we arrived, we were personally greeted by Rosemary and Rick and given treats to feed the animals and homemade cookies to feed us. In late afternoon, Rick gave a very interesting tour of the ranch, which included feeding the alpacas and their horse. The HH guests were happy to be invited to participate in these chores and enjoyed the experience. Extremely soft alpaca fiber (fur) yarn and other products were available in their store. If you find yourself anywhere near Clovis NM, go out of your way to visit Rosemary, Rick, and their friendly, entertaining alpaca herd.

Rosemary and Ric Metcalf were wonderful! We scheduled a private tour and found it educational and fun for our family! Ric was informative during the tour and Rosemary knows the products in and out sold at the gift shop. Feeding the alpacas was the highlight of our visit. The goat milk soap they offered to wash our hands with was surprisingly nice. They sell these soaps at the gift shop with various scents. 5-stars for customer service and experience!
