Truckee Tahoe Airport

Great airshow! Fun to climb in so many planes and see inside what they look like. And the airplanes flying in the sky, amazing what they can do, kids really liked seeing the airplanes close up. And lots of other booths with great products or great information. Then Kidzone had a wonderful land in the grass and playground area. They had lots of crafts to do from making airplanes to painting. They had jump houses and did facepainting. And they also had a lady presenting 2 puppet shows and after each show she shared with the kids how the puppets looked and what kind they are. And the trucks with many choices of food. Overall it was a great day.

This is a great location for a multitude of activities. On any given day you will see the nonstop arrival and departure of G-5's and other high end private jets. You are a 3 minute drive away from some of the best skiing available in the country.

Beautiful airport, surrounded by amazing scenery plus they have a friendly efficient and helpful staff. Limited services though, especially when flying in during winter months, with little or no overnight hangar availability and no De-icing options.
Airport is perfectly situated to access multiple North Lake Tahoe ski resorts and it's only a 15 minute drive to Lake Tahoe.

I really like this airport, but I can’t get on the planes

Very nice terminal with a good restaurant. Small park with kids play structure (tho same fenced area as the dog park which is a bit odd). Friendly staff. Strict about noise abatement. Parking is expensive (I think $15/day now).

Best snowy scenery with pointy trees! The staff is SUPER kind and caring. The food is delicious and the snow is over 50 ft high! The city is also super great!

A brand new terminal at the Truckee Airport makes travelling to Lake Tahoe much more comfortable and friendly. Why fly to Reno miles away when you can fly an Air Taxi like GaryAir and others to Truckee (TRK).? Rental cars are available and can be brought right out to the plane. No crowds. No hassle.

A confortable small airpot it makes me more easy travel to Lake Tahoe with my family in summer or winter not like Reno that is too far away from Lake tahoe.

Finally a good airport in my bushtrip toward Sierra Nevada. #fs2020
