The Cowboy Cafe

Stopped for lunch on our way through. This place is a dive and WE LOVED IT!! Don't let the outside appearance get ya, the food is great. The server was lovely as well. We shared a club sandwich and a 10 Oz steak, both were spot on. She let us try the green chili as well when we were done and what a pleasant surprise that was. Spicy and absolutely delicious.
Stop here! You will enjoy 😉

Placed off I-80w in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, the Cowboy Cafe hands down has the "BEST" Chicken Fried Steak fresh out the fryer I have ever had!
Fresh mashed potatoes with white gravy and steamed vegetable medley was ok. I would have appreciated a little butter on the veggies and the spuds for some added flavor, but overall ok!
Also, I highly recommend the pulled pork Green Chili...deeeeeelish!

A quiet hidden gem of a truckstop. Most people drive by this place never even thinking of stopping here.

The food is great! Service is fast and the portions are overfilling.

The outside of the building does not at all match the inside and the super friendly people! Best breakfast we've had in a while. Everything was great but the bacon was incredible! Highly recommended!

Supreme Hot Hamburger dinner for $12.99 on special. Really good and a great price.

My omlete was excellent and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back here again.

Un endroit perdu au milieu de nul part ou nous nous sommes arrêtés pour le petit déjeuner. L'extérieur pose question mais ne pas s'y méprendre : l'intérieur est typique, propre, accueillant, chaleureux, simple et la nourriture au top. Les pancakes "home made" et non industriels, sont les meilleurs que j'ai mangé - il en est de même pour toute leur cuisine. Merveilleux endroit que je recommande vivement car il mérite d'être connu.

Quaint little joint in the middle of almost nowhere and the locals seem to love it, I did too! I've been wanting to stop in here for years every time I go by but the timing has never been good. Now I feel like I've been missing out. We're really glad there's still a few places like this where you can stop in and have a good meal and a good environment with very good service. Please stop in and check it out... I would HATE to see this place go away like most of the others; it seems like fast food is taking over the world and good restaurants like this just can't keep up so let's help them out

Ordered medium rare steak to go and got a steak so raw it was still breathing...

Been here quite a few times. Food is retty good. Service is a hit and miss depending on who is serving. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Never got a refill on drinks.
I asked for what I thought was a simple request. I was wanting plain spaghetti for a side instead of a potato. Nope, cant do that. I am so tired of hearing "We cant do that because we dont have a button to charge for it". I'm not looking for special treatment. Just a simple switch, and if it costs a little extra, so be it. We usually spend about $50 to 75 here. I am skmewhat of a big eater. Not today. $22.00
And the usual $15.00 to $20 tip just dropped off the deep end.
Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Wont be coming back. Food is still good but why stop if you cant get what you are in the mood for?
