Hate to do this but ONCE AGAIN the usps person delivering my packages is now throwing them onto my front porch. Already had to call and file a complaint last time and they started sending a new person on my route. Now there is a new driver throwing packages again. I have all of these incidents ON VIDEO and have now sent the newest video to the Official USPS Facebook page. Sick and tired of the negligence of these packages deliveries.

Every time I've called the Appomattox Post Office NO ONE answers the phone! No matter how many times you call and how many hours especially on a Sat. you'll never get an employee to actually pick up the phone. Just called and it's a Saturday morning and again no one answered. I think they only have ONE clerk on duty on Saturdays which is unreal!!! This is NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS especially a GOVERNMENT business!!!!! Sometimes you can't go in person and may have postal questions that need to be addressed thus why you should be able to call on the phone and talk to an employee. Beyond tired of this place to say the least. And it's beyond me how it continues to run as it is never mind there's constant complaints especially since the Post Master came on board a few years back! Will be closing my PO Box and going to another Post Office even if I have to drive to it because it's obvious NOTHING will ever be done to CHANGE things in this unorganized non-caring facility.

I am so tired of them not taking packages to the right house. They only pay attention to the number and not the road. I am also receiving mail that isn't mine. I have called and called and nothing changes. I even had one package be opened uo by the person who received it.

Missing package which apparently was delivered to wrong address. My wife has tried dealing with the Appomattox postmaster concerning this who was EXTREMELY rude & offered no assistance telling her on the follow up phone call “ you already told me that! & we’re doing what we can” (but no solution). If the position is too stressful for you, quit & find another job! We’ve had prior issues with receiving other’s mail, or our mail being delivered elsewhere in the past. Hope the postal service is taken over by a private contractor to begin getting proper customer service. Anything run by the govt. is sub par !

Horrible workers none want to do any work and don't even tell you about insurance before they ship it lost $1000 because of them horrible never again ups or fedex before these jokes

I have to drive to post office to pick up every single delivery they are supposed to bring to me. What I do receive, at least once a week, is mail that isn't even mine. Do not recommend.

Over the past several months I have been receiving mail that appears to be tampered with. It’s either been partially open or completely open. I spoke to the Post Master and she was very nice. She said bring the piece of mail by the Post Office in Appomattox so she can look at it. If anyone is receiving mail that appears tampered with (letters opened or partially open- please hold on to it and take it by the post office). The opening of our mail does not appear to be from a machine. It appears to be from a human. The next time our mail arrives open. I will be taking it to the Post Master to examine it.
