Golden China Restaurant

Our family loves getting takeout from Golden China Restaurant! They have AMAZING hot and spicy soup! I recommend their fried dumplings, shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken and general Tso combo! Oh and the egg rolls are great too! Our experiences with the Owners are always memorable. Thank you Golden China Restaurant!

My customer experience was very good, this is my second time coming here. I was just looking for a Chinese restaurant near my job site. The amount of food is very well served, good quality from what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. Great price, lunch prices are unbeatable. I got curry chicken with onions (salty but good) and a kung Po chicken. If I'm ever around this area, I will definitely come back.

Golden China is a great place to get local Chinese food in Appomattox. They have a wide variety of choices and the owner, Bill, is very nice. They also have a buffet option with a lot of different food. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Service was outstanding! Greating at the door from the owner. Our waitress gave excellent suggestions based on our preferences. Food was served timely and piping hot. Servings were large! A very enjoyable lunch.

We just ate here for lunch, and I definitely will be returning soon. My lunch special was Szechuan Chicken, and I definitely would recommend it! The portion size was perfect to enjoy for lunch, and we even got to speak with the owner, Bill. This restaurant is located conveniently near the Kroger in Appomattox where I like to purchase groceries and gift cards. Next time we go to Golden China Restaurant I’ll remember to take a few photos and add them to this review!

Excellent food, very fair pricing, and wonderful owner and family. This is a best Chinese restaurant in our area. The food never disappoints. We get carry out and our food is always ready so fast even when they look busy, and it’s always exact! We love this place!

I have to say, I moved down here to Virginia and didn't think I would ever have good Chinese food again. I was so wrong. It was the best food I've ever experienced. It was fresh veggies, succulent dishes of each plate we ordered. The service was pleasant and they treated you like you mattered. All smiles and good times to be had. I would eat there every night if I could. Great big thank you to the chef and our waiter for such a pleasant experience all the way around from excellent food to excellent service. Five stars to you all.

Awesome. Definitely worth the ride from Farmville. Service was great. Food was fresh, tasty, wide variety especially on the buffet. The buffet was constantly being refilled. Reasonably priced. Place was immaculate. Will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our lunch. The buffet had plenty of choices even though we were enjoying a late lunch. There was only one other customer in the restaurant while we were there and I felt like the waitress was impatient for us to leave. We will be back. It was very good

I've been eating here for as long as I can remember. Great good and great customer service. Highly recommend the cheese wonton, dumplings and any soup.

Their buffet was very good! All the food was fresh and hot. They don't have a huge buffet like most places but still had enough items to make me fully satisfied.

Always great food, highly underrated restaurant! While the buffet is fresh and maintained well, their take out is even better! Very polite and efficient service.

Great spot, would of taken pictures of my general tso chicken but I devoured it too fast. Awesome spot for combos and dining in.
