Alterations by Joan

Joan is such a great seamstress.. she did exactly what I wanted with last-minute alterations to my daughter's Easter dress this year! My daughter and I was so comfy and happy with Joan as a person; I highly recommend her services!!

Joan was very skilled and very kind! She took her time with my fitting, made sure I was happy with the direction we were heading in and had it ready when she said it would be! I will definitely go back to Joan for any future alteration needs!

Joan did wonderful work shortening the skirt length and straps of my dress. It fit me perfectly! Plus, she was able to accommodate a rush job since I had just received my dress and needed it in one week before traveling out of town for a wedding. I would definitely use her services again!

Joan treated us with the absolute most kindness and care. She got our whole zipper replacement done in a couple of hours and was the nicest person. We will definitely be going to her for all of our alteration needs
in the future!!

Words can’t explain how I feel! This was my second bridesmaid dress I purchased and I could only get it zipped up halfway. Found her on google and gave her the dress. Once I came back after the alterations, the dress fit perfectly!!! 🥲 Will definitely come back for any alterations🙂

We came to Ms. Joan in a panic to start with because my husband waited 3 months before the wedding to change suit ideas. This suit was purchased off Amazon where they asked for ALL his measurements and we felt confident it would fit perfectly. We'll as you can see from the first two photos it did NOT. The jacket was too big, the vest was odd, and in trying it on he split the pants right down the middle. I just knew we'd have to find a different suit. We adore Ms. Joan and her candor demeanor. She's truthful and gave it to us straight. She was upfront about going on vacation and but assured us that the suit would be ready on time. Then Hurricane Ian hit and flooded her shop and she had to work out of her home. She advised me that most of her paperwork was destroyed. However she completed the task right on time for our 11/3/22 wedding and he looked AMAZING! She saved the day and I'm forever grateful to her. She has made life long customers of us.

Ps. She hemed my mother in laws pants cause they were way to long. She could of done a basic, plain Jane hem; however, she did this beautiful wavy hem that literally made me Aww when I was ironing. Such attention to detail is rare.

As You can see by the before and after photos i posted, Joan performed a miracle on this dress to make it a perfect maternity bridesmaid dress for me!! She was able to alter this dress a week before the wedding to make sure that it would still fit my baby bump that was growing!!! so thankful that I found her. 💕 I would highly recommend her services.!!!

Joan was so accommodating!! Even though she was more than 2 weeks out Joan agreed to size me up and make my desired alterations. Joan is in no way rude or harsh like other comments have said. I had to get my prom dress altered by Joan because the top didn't fit correctly. She did a fantastic job and was super nice. We talked together for a while about what was happening in my life and I left her shop with both a dress and more confidence than I've had in a while. Joan is not only a fantastic tailor but a fantastic person.

I got this bridesmaid dress in a week before I had to go out of town for a wedding, and of course it was too big. Joan was a miracle worker!!! She was able to customize this dress to fit me perfectly!!!! I cannot thank her enough for being able to handle this difficult task in such a short amount of time!

Joan is an angel! I tried on my bridesmaid dress two days before we were leaving for an out-of-state wedding, and it would barely zip up! Joan answered my call at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday and within 24 hours, my dress was perfect, and I left covered in prayer and filled with peace.
