She was so rude that I was embarrassed for her. To bad the guy was unaware that if they do not deliver your mail then YES you CAN come pick it up within 2 weeks or USPS will send it back. She lied to him.

I am at a complete loss for words. I received a box from the USPS. Upon opening it, I found a slip that told me it had been damaged during transport. The USPS put some of the books I ordered and several I have never seen. They cut the top off the damaged box and taped them on the top of another one. The books(for my son) were all damaged and torn. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the 800 number. They said to take the package to the post office and refuse it. James said that he would not do that and called me a liar. I am livid! Why would I cut pieces off an old box and put them on a new one? If the post office is going to damage the box, they need to put the slip on the outside of the box. Because I opened it, the package can't be refused. What I would like to know is where are the other items I ordered? Also, what about the person who is missing their items that are in my package? Insanely ridiculous. They were already on the defensive the second I walked in and said the first few words. No help whatsoever and James is condescending.
