Thirteenth Colony Distillery

The wife and I visited Thirteenth Colony Distillery a week or so ago and had a very nice time. We enjoyed the tour and learning about their process and of course sampling their products. Megan was very friendly and genuine, impressed with their small staff and facility. Still would like some Double Oaked please (hint hint). Would definitely recommend.

Best Distillery tour ever! The tour is quick but getting to talk to the actual people who make the bourbon and know all the backstory’s of the distillery was amazing. And we ended up chatting for a while. They also make arguably the best bourbon of 22 and now again in 23. The double oak is not available to purchase or taste there (but they let me hold it). But we did get to buy a special release single barrel they had just done. And it was signed by the master distillery Graham who happed to be there that day and was a great guy and awesome to talk to.

Visited Thirteenth Colony Distillery last week with my wife. I discovered their whiskey and rye about a year ago and I was surprised on just how flavorful and amazing their offerings were. I saw they were a Georgia Bourbon and immediately wanted to support this company.

The Master Distiller, Grant, took about an hour out of his busy schedule to chat with us and even offered some of his special future offerings to see what we thought of them!

This is a small footprint and everything is done on site, to include filtering their water until its damn near sterile.

Everyone that we encountered were down to Earth and very accommodating…We enjoyed our visit very much!

We scheduled a tour on Thursday, and the Next day we were able to tour and taste. The distillery is small, but their product is BIG! Family operation with that lost home town feel and appeal that is difficult to find these days. Tour was longer than usual, as the President of the Company, Max was on site, and joined us along the tour. Their product list is short, but with the small selection in product, comes a BIG win with their taste. I was surprised to learn they have the Bourbon and Rye( I Liked the Rye best) along with a vodka and Gin product. They were out of stock with the double oaked that has new found fame. The experience was great and I highly recommend a visit.

I went for a tour here after trying their double oaked bourbon and falling in love with it. The tour was very informative and you get to see every part of this craft distillery. Everything is made is this small warehouse. I loved the fact that they have some equipment made from recycled metals. Megan our tour guide was great!

The cocktails you have before the tour are delicious and I’m not a vodka or gin girl but I’d drink those any day. My favorite was the southern bourbon. It’s also awesome that if you buy a bottle at the distillery it comes signed by Graham, the master distiller. Very cool.

I highly recommend making a stop into this place. I made an almost 2 1/2hr drive down from Atlanta and would gladly do it again. The distillers Graham and Brian even stopped to say hello and have a chat while we were there. It was an amazing experience for this 13th colony fan and one I won’t soon forget! Cheers y’all!

We had the absolute best time on our tour, and tasting today! Megan gave us a wonderfully informative tour. She was nothing but eager to answer our questions, and made our tour delightful. It was super cool being the only ones on the tour and made it comfortable, and personal. I can't wait to go back with my whiskey club!!! They have the absolute best rye whiskey, for the price!

My husband & I traveled from Tallahassee, FL, for a tour & tasting. Megan was phenomenal and a wonderful guide. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the amazing spirits.

I highly recommend the tour and tasting at Thirteenth Colony Distillery! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, and the spirits were excellent. We'd definitely visit again, and we're excited to enjoy the bourbon and rye at home that we purchased.

The tastings and the tour were excellent! So much history inside the walls of this building on Dudley Street I never knew until now. We have been customers of 13th Colony for years but will support them even more knowing how much effort goes into making their spirits - not only for taste but for quality. It's truly no wonder they have won many awards. I highly recommend the tour and tasting for locals and visitors.

Great people and great spirits. Family run and they are so hospitable. My friend and I had a blast.

My mother and I were visiting from Florida. Took the distillery tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cool facility, nice people and a great product! I bought several bottles from them and more from a liquor store before heading home. Only complaint is I can't get 13th colony rye in Florida! Highly recommend stopping by 13th colony.

Access to distillery is unbelievable they aren’t keeping any secrets there. The tasting was a great experience. I am looking forward to the aged Gin summer 2024. Your products are awesome. I look forward to watching you grow right here in my backyard.

We had a great time visiting 13th Colony Distillery! The tasting tour is short and sweet, but a good time.

My 2 sons and I visited the Thirteenth Colony distillery the other day.
Did the tasting tour and walked about the floor. Very nice folks making a truly fine product. Well worth the trip and time.
We all even got the T-shirts. Bought what spirits the government would allow then headed over to the package store down town and picked up the one's we couldn't get (darn government regulations) at the distillery. Bonus for me, the distillery has 4 antique tractors including a LOVELY Massey Ferguson that still is haunting my dreams.

An awesome little jem hidden in Americus. My Family and I arrived too late to do a tour, buy we were able to do a tasting. I was blown away by their products on how great they tasted. The Gin and the Vodka are a must try! The staff is very welcoming and very professional with a personal touch. I will definitely be going back with friends for another tasting and a tour this time. Highly recommend you check them out and buy local!

Great way to entertain out-of-town friends! Our tour began with a couple of signature cocktails. Megan and Brian are so knowledgeable—the tour was very informative! We ended with a tasting which was fabulous. The atmosphere and everyone we met were quite pleasant (and entertaining LOL). We will definitely visit again!
