Captain Joe's Seafood, Jesup, GA

I went into Joe's expecting an average experience at an American diner level. Instead we got 5-star food and service at 3-star prices. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The host staff and the wait staff were great. Every meal comes with the soup and salad bar. Let me tell you, this is the best salad bar in the area. All you can eat cheddar biscuits. Great seafood. Everyone's drink order came with a mini pitcher so you can refill you glass as needed. Spectacular. Oh, and desert...naner pudding right at the salad bar. All you can eat pudding. You know this is the place.

Food was very good got there much later than I had planned about 9 pm. The food was very good. I got fried shrimp plate it came with very large salad bar and one side I chose fried pickles. Everything thing was nice. I will try to eat here again next time I am in Jesup.

I love ❤ capt joes ! Can't say enough about the salad bar, the soup and biscuits, hush puppies are good. I tried the red fish it was tasty. 😋 always get good service. I highly recommend it.

Ms. Caroline is everyone's Auntie. She is the kindest most warm hearted care about her customers hostess I've ever encountered. He boss needs to give her a raise. I know we will be back. Not only to see Ms. Caroline but for shrimp and rice soup, salad bar, fan tailed fried shrimp however soup and salad is Plenty!!! Our waitress with her two blonde French braided pig tails was a very sweet girl and very attentive of our needs.

Everything was wonderful from the soup and salad bar to the entree. It is a nice, quiet atmosphere.

1st time eating here, it was great food, fast service and an awesome server!

The food is really good. The salad bar is fresh and the ham and vegetable soup was outstanding. The waitress was so nice and helpful. We are from out of town and we really enjoyed funding a good restaurant so close to the wedding venue.

The soup and salad bar is outstanding..that is homemade soup. Fresh shrimp.was very good.

Excellent salad bar. The vegetables were fresh and ranch dressing very good. Fish sandwich and fries very good although someone thought that it tasted like it was fried in old oil.

Went Sunday after church. The salad bar/soup bar/ dessert bar was great. My chop steak was amazing and my wife loved her sirloin and crab legs. We will definitely be back.

Tonight was my first time eating at Captain Joe's and I must say that I was very pleased! The restaurant was clean and there was Covid protocol in place. The food was amazing! I loved the salad bar. Everyone was extremely nice. Our server, Angela, was on her second day but she did an excellent job. I will definitely be visiting again.

Best Captain Joes in our area!We drive to Jesup from Alma because this location always has fresh salad on the bar,great soup,and the waitresses are always doing a great job!

This is a great place to dine on some delicious seafood and get service with a smile! I had the shrimp on a skewer (grilled) and it was seasoned perfectly. Great job, Team Joe! Thank you! I couldn't believe how great the salad bar was, too! We didn't have the soup, but am sure it was good,too.

Great salad bar and soup bar! The service was excellent and the place was really clean as well. I had the ham and vegetable soup which was savory and really good tasting. The shrimp PO boy had the big lovely beef stake tomatoes and the iced tea was perfect.

Great experience. Beautiful, clean place, all the staff were (properly) wearing face masks. Service was quick, friendly and highly knowledgeable about menu items. Collard greens were DELICIOUS, just like mom's. Portions were huge, My husband and I each got a dish and were able to eat it again for lunch the next day. Capt Joe's will be seeing a lot more of us!

It was Sunday and had to wait a long time for food. Salad and food was delicious! Just want to add that we didn't mind the wait. Food is always good! The staff is great also.

Had a very good experience! The waitress was very pleasant and very efficient. Salad bar was fresh and I filled up on it before my dinner came. Shrimp dinners were excellent. Could not have asked for a more enjoyable evening.
