Stellar in every way possible! The food is great country grill grub! Burgers are best in NC in my opinion. The staff is friendly, especially the big tattooed buttercup in the apron! Love this place & would cry if it wasn't in Goldston. Definitely a place to go if near by & if you live a distance away, make a day to go eat! You will LOVE IT! So worth it!

Kathy had a cheese burger and fried okra and I had a barbecue sandwich with fries. It was delicious 😋. Kathy gave me half of her fried okra when she got really full with her burger. We both loved it. The two ladies cooking and serving were really nice. We marked another favorite place to eat here again soon.

Came here for takeout breakfast and I was so impressed! The egg biscuit was so soft and the hash browns were so good. What was even more impressive was the customer service and care! I can tell there is so much history and love in this diner.

Awesome spot! If you get the chance, try the Rufus Burger! It's amazing. Great service, and a staple of the community. Definitely worth trying

Nice small dinner. Great service, nice atmosphere, and good food. It serves normal Southern grill food: hamburgers, hotdogs, NC barbecue, etc.

I had the pork chop with potato salad and steamed cabbage. Everything was hot and tasty and nicely seasoned. Service was very good and very friendly. Enjoyed the meal immensely.

Since that last review, I decided to give them another chance. I must say that the service has greatly improved, and the food is excellent at a good price!

Went there for breakfast. Sat for 45 minutes waiting for eggs and hash browns while watching other tables who ordered after us get their food. Eggs and hash browns folks...

Like Brownie Lu's, great home town country place to eat. The Rufus Burger is outstanding. The people who work there are very loving a nice. This resteraunt to me is what makes Goldston a good place to eat. It's a landmark, historic, if you ask me.

Aunt Jane on the grill and the food can't be beat.

Stopped by here on the way to Mt Airy last week. The food was really, really good! The staff were friendly and utilized sanitary practices. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Quaint little restaurant, friendly staff, good food. Ate there tonight, had the Rufus burger. Recommending to my elderly client as a quiet restaurant and to others for the excellent food.
