Best cheeseburger in Stanly County - period. Always made fresh. Sides are generous. Service is friendly and fast. Great alternative to the chains!

Whispering Pines is an old school BBQ joint. So don’t go in expecting fancy! This place has the BEST BBQ and slaw!! Service is always top notch and never disappoints. I have to say, out of all the BBQ places around, they do have the absolute best slaw, hands down. Definitely stop in an get some good Carolina BBQ and southern hospitality.

First time here was great. It's cash only btw. Servers are super nice and it's real good, fresh BBQ. Big servings and excellent prices. The bake beans are great.

They have the best BBQ in town,wait time at the drive through is pretty fast even if you don't order ahead and everyone very nice and always has a smile and very friendly 😀

Excellent traditional finely chopped North Carolina pork BBQ. Friendly staff. The red coleslaw is also a treat. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood. Pancake battered onion rings are also a must.

Great BBQ I thought Hendrix BBQ in Salisbury had the best BBQ until I moved to Albemarle and discovered Whispering Pines BBQ and found not only is the BBQ the best but the hushpuppies and French fries are quite good as well ! The waitresses are very friendly and professional and keep your ice tea filled..so do yourself and your appetite a favor and stop by and have some great BBQ

BEST BBQ IN NORTH CAROLINA!!! Right now it is carry out only. You drive up to the back, they come out to your car to take the order. Always with a smile and greeting. Within 5 minutes you have piping hot fresh food in your hands! What could be better than that?!

We recently ordered from Whispering Pines for a Birthday Party and our experience with the owner was simply AMAZING. Wonderful, Gentleman, GREAT Food and his pricing was unbeatable. We not only got Great Service and GREAT BBQ but all the fixings and he provided warmers and coolers to keep everything fresh. I cant say enough about Whispering Pines, their food and their service. They also have THE BEST Burgers as well as other menu items. If you're in the area and want a Great place to eat give them a try; If you're looking for somewhere to provide food for you're next party/family gathering give them a call..You wont be disappointed. I will definitely be calling on them again for future partys/get togethers

Took the family here and the food was great. We had a burger, chicken fingers and a plate of pork. The portions were plenty and prices reasonable! Service was also great. Better take cash, it's all they take! Baked beans were excellent!

Great Pop n Mom style place to eat, small seating so don't think it's like a classic restaurant. We usually just take out BBQ and never had a problem with it being tough or undercooked. I grew up with good BBQ so if you're from out of state and wanted a quick fixin then try this place on the side of 52 across from Golds Gym.

For real Lexington North Carolina style BBQ it doesn't get much better. Good burgers too. The servers are just wonderful and the decor is truly charming.

Great simple BBQ. Very affordable with one caveat - cash only. I will most definitely visit them again.
