My husband and I had breakfast there for the first time last weekend. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the staff. Food was good and our waitress was nice. I loved how the staff knew everyone by name. Just a great little down home diner! We'll definitely be back!

Time of day and who's cooking, is always taken into consideration when I give my reviews.
I hadn't been here in several years. I had scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy and a bowl of grits with sweet tea. Everything I ate was properly cooked and well presented on my plate. It was fairly early, around 7:30am. So, it was quite busy at the time I visited. The parking lot with limited spaces made finding a place hard. All in all great restaurant.

Pulled up local restaurants on google when Traveling through to Boone to assist our daughter with new furniture she bought while at AppState. This restaurant came up and had the best ratings around! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Everything tasted freshly cooked and the prices were reasonable.

The service was great. Small noisy restaurant. Food was very good, just not worth a 5 rating. Plan on eating there again. I had one of the lunch specials. My wife had a two item veggie plate and bill was almost $20....drinking water.

I used to eat here every multiple times a week with my grandpa before school before he passed. They have the best gravy biscuits I've ever had. The waiters are so friendly and Angie and the women at the cashier are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. I'll always love this place they make u feel at home.

This is one of those places that make you feel at home. They have never messed up my order. The food is great and the prices are cheap. Never had an issue, I go at least once a week sometimes more.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent. I only gave 4 stars to "food" for one reason. I am a Texan and smoked brisket is practically a national food in Texas. I had a brisket sandwich at 220 that was delicious, but it was not a Texas brisket sandwich. I suppose I could have given it 5 stars since I enjoyed it a lot.

It was exactly what we were looking for after a long morning at the zoo. The food was very good, the homemade chicken salad was out-of-this-world thank you to the sister who made it! And the service was outstanding

Enjoyed our lunch there. Like the ladies who work there. They stay busy and keep everyone happy. Very good vegetables.

Absolutely love this place!! I go at least once a week for a double bacon cheese burger. And if there’s potato salad on the board, forget about it! I’m ordering two or three sides of that!

This place is the go to for breakfast and lunch. Speedy service, nice attention to customers and you feel welcome also the great food and good variety. If you are in the area make sure to stop by, great food and affordable prices.

We came for the mouth-watering steaks that were cooked perfectly for each of us, but look at these desserts!! Yep, two are going home with us!! Yes, we will come back!!
Only slow down a little…. Each course came before each was finished.
