Enjoy the farmers eating next to the professional people. The way community cafes used to be....a true glimpse of Americana...

Stopped here while traveling on the recommendations on Google and we weren't disappointed. The food and service were great and the prices very reasonable. If we're in the area again and need something to eat well stop again.

This spot was just what I was looking for! A true small town cafe just like the one I used to visit with my grandmother. Had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, sweet tea, and their homemade chocolate dessert. 100% recommend!

The food was sooo good fantastic and soo delicious I would Absolutely eat here again. The service was awesome got us some extra Biscuits and jelly. The atmosphere was great ot was old fashioned and I loved that over all 5 stars

The chicken sandwich took up half of the to-go box and the shoestring fries were just right. (Fries took up the rest of the box!) A very filling place to eat.

Ate at Mimi’s this morning on the way back to north Texas from Riverwind Casino. I just did a little Google search and Mimi’s stood out. I’m always looking for small town treasures when it comes to eating out. Mimi’s is definitely a treasure and we expect to dine there again. We had a complete breakfast…one having two eggs over medium, 4 strips of bacon, two pieces of toast, and hash browns. AND…for “dessert” a short stack of pancakes. All extremely well prepared and delicious. The other diner had Mimi’s homemade biscuits and gravy with two scrambled eggs. We both concurred that the biscuits were really great. One had coffee and the other had whole milk. Everything was really good and I can’t wait to go back. I hope to try lunch there for sure. Lots of good choices on the menu for breakfast and lunch.

Downtown Pauls Valley, about 3 miles east of I-35, is such a pretty small town and the old cobblestone streets are fantastic.

Definitely give it a try if you are in the area for breakfast or lunch. We will be back!!

I have not eaten at your restaurant but my mom who lives in Pauls Valley loves eating there. She loves your chicken and the salad with chicken on it. Thank you for providing such delicious meals!!!

The inside atmosphere will certainly take you back to a simpler time. It’s old timey and clean.
My coffee cup was always full.
The menu was simple and everything was available.
Food came out promptly, correct, and tasted great. We got breakfast- the chicken fried steak, over easy eggs, biscuits and gravy. 5 stars.
A little salt, pepper, and Tabasco makes your plate perfect.
The waitress was amazing.
My only complaint is you can’t leave gratuity on credit card so be sure to bring cash to take care of the staff!

This place is just like home cooking. I’ve loved it for years and it never disappoints. Except when they don’t have greens as a side. :)

It's been ran by members of my family for years. My Aunt Retha made the best gravy you ever tasted ! And I guess they stole her recipe. Because it still tastes like her gravy. My cousins have been feeding Paul's Valley for years. I don't see that ending anytime soon. Great place to eat

The food has been the same since I was kid. I love love love the chicken fried steak, the coleslaw is amazing and everyone is always happy and smiling. It's a great place to have coffee and see old friends. Also you must try the pie!!!
