Dr. N and Dawn have been super to work with. They have helped me get better with my anxiety.

Love Dr. N! He has helped my daughter so much. If you can get past his awkwardness then you will love him!

My son was court ordered to this clinic after being hospitalized for psychosis. 6 months later, I was really unhappy with Pickens Mental Health Clinic.

HOWEVER, it's been over 3 years working with these guys now. My son goes at least once a month, and Dr. N, who once seemed completely cold and gruff has gained my son's trust. Also the nurse we work with, Dawn, is absolutely brilliant with my son, and a wonderful person in general.

In retrospect, my initial negative opinion about this clinic may have had more to do with the overwhelming difficulty of our situation than I gave credit for at the time. I'm sure a lot of negative reviews come from the same place, "WHY CAN'T YOU DO MORE TO HELP MY LOVED ONE?".. Unfortunately some things just aren't that easy to help with.

I wish they could do more for him, but I'm grateful they are there, and I'm grateful Dawn and Dr N have built a relationship with my son.

Thanks for all you do, guys. Dawn, you're the best!

Yes, I too have had appointments messed up. On their end of course. I didn't like my counselor. She always suggested that I take up painting or another art form. She didn't listen well to what I said. BUT I really like nurse Dawn and Dr Nigamatov. They listen to me and seem to understand what I need and what my goals are for my mental health.

My therapist, Christine is pretty awesome. She's a vet and very understanding towards those with anxiety related problems. Dr Wagget is my psychiatrist and , she's not friendly at all though. She asks the same questions multiple times in the same session I think to try and catch folks in lies. She seems suspicious of me at times and I leave not knowing what to think of the situation.

Just by the first time phone Convo I had I know I'm not even going to my first appt. I explained to the person on the phone that I used to be on 150 mg Zoloft and that it did not help, & that I wanted to be actually assessed instead of just thrown meds. I was basically told, "Um that much Zoloft should have worked." When I expressed my concerns of possible PTSD I was asked, "What do you think you have PTSD from?" I feel like that's something that should be spoke of in person and not asked randomly on the phone by a stranger. He also had a very "yea ok here we go" tone to him that immediately made me feel not believed. I think I will stay home!

Let me start from the beginning. My child goes to a counselor there. They have a good bond, and we would try to go with them if they moved to different facility. My child saw Dr Waggett. The whole visit she was very dismissive, she can't winking and smirking well my child was seriously trying to talk about how they felt. It was beyond infuriating. I'm not sure if the counselor changed it or if waggit herself was being unprofessional and change the doctor, but I'm glad they did. Dr Waggot has no business being in the mental health field or the medical field whatsoever. I've seen multiple reviews of just her alone and it's sickening. The next Doctor we would go to would be on a camera in the office there. the other camera switched on and recorded our session without my permission. They just dismissed me and told me that it just comes on and they only use it for training. I told them that I did not give any permission for any training or our session to be looked in on. I asked the lady up front to go check it out and she sounded like she wasn't going to so I went up there and of course she didn't. They put me through to the director's voice mail. He never called me back. My appointment was messed up buy the bigger lady that's very argumentative at the window. My counselor was out due to medical reasons. she gave me her medical information of her being in the hospital when no one needs to know that. And that they should have called me and she tried to argue with me that she called me and she didn't. Friday when my child had an appointment she didn't call us to let us know that his counselor was out that day. I signed them out of school and brought them there for nothing. They told me it's the counselor's job to call. She put me through the to the director again where I got the voice mail again. He has not called me back not once. I really wish that I knew who he answered to you. The place really needs overhauled or shut down. the directors the complete coward that buy hides behind his voice mails. I tried talking to you another lady about it and she talked over me and defended how rude the one lady was being. How unprofessional is it when your provider is sick and they have to call you not the office?! I have never heard of that in my entire life. It is absolutely ridiculous. If you were thinking about going here do not waste your time. They will belittle you and make you feel like you are not a person. They do not address concerns, they violate HIPAA, they are argumentative, unprofessional, cowards with the exception of the two counselors I've met.

They cancelled my appt without telling me and then dropped me as a patient after telling me I needed them. This place is a joke. They don't help. I have real help at Pastoral Counseling now. Do yourself a favor and skip this step and just go to Pastoral Counseling, where they actually care about their patients.

The doctor we saw on the wedcam session was pretty nice. The other camera came on. I believe someone was sitting in our session that I didn't give consent to be there. I told them in the office and after being brushed off I called. The lady didn't even go back there until I called to see what was going on. She said she talked to the director and nothing is recorded. She said that " one is used for training". I again said "I didn't consent to the training" she told me again "Nothing is being recorded." "We use that one for CPR training etc" I still can't help, but feel our HIPPA rights were violated today at the Easley office.

Let me give you some advice Pickens mental health. When you meet a potential client who pays your paycheck use your words and introduce yourself. Be courteous and kind. We are watching your actions. Seems you weren't taught any manners.

This place is nothing but a sham to take advantage of Medicaid. The doctors prescribe meds and give samples that want be covered by patient's medicaid. Then has to make other changes. They dont have doctors available on Friday to help their patients. The counselor's do the minimum needed to bill. Find a private practice dont use any of the county mental health facilities.

Front desk always messes up appt and reschedules them. You can never get in contact with providers when medicine refills are needed. If there was other providers that had a open spot, no one would use this provider! Shut it down!!

Without going into detail, Dr. N is horrendous. He’s very mean and belittling toward his patients and treats them like complete maniacs. He was very rude, impersonable, and judgemental
