Ma's Cafe

Ordered the chicken fried ribeye (recommended by our server but not on the menu)...Was FANTASTIC!!! Worth every penny! Service was great, food was excellent! Will be traveling back by there in another week and will definitely stop in again!

The best family owned restaurant in East Texas. The food is always amazing quality, made to order and the wait time is low. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. A chef named Lori never fails to make your food to perfection.

First walking in you could be seated anywhere you like, then the host come and get your drink order, and ask upon bringing your drink if you would like to order. After you place your order the food comes out 12 minutes or less fresh and hot! I loved my dish which was a simple french fry with nacho cheese jalapeno peppers and bacon! The cheese covered every french fry which I enjoyed because most places only covered the top but Ma's Cafe insured that you get a taste of every piece of their ingredients in every bite! This reason is why I give Ma's Cafe of five star and plus the host was a good server!

Had the Philly Sub and chicken spaghetti. Amazing! Really, really good! Definitely going to be one of our go to spots.

Love it here! We look for reasons to be out that way, just so we can eat there! Just Delicious! Comfortable and clean and folks are always friendly!

Very "HOMEY" Relaxed atmosphere. Freindly staff. Great food!! Something besides news and sports on the tv screen!!!

Love this restaurant. Very reasonable pricing and home cooked meals. They butcher their own beef and make their own pizza dough. True home cooking from fried okra to chicken fried chicken or steak. Great breakfast, too!

Eaten there several times.... an hours drive each way...worth the drive. Buffalo wings, pork chop. Hawaiian burger, Ruben, fried chicken..and sides all very good and the people that work there seem to enjoy their jobs and a East Texas welcom is always in the air... callfor hours and daily specials...not kin to anyone,just a hungry passing thru the East Texas area.

This place was fantastic! Friendly service, very tentative waitresses, food was phenomenal! Order the seafood basket! I was impressed for sure! Best catfish I've had in a while but they have plenty of other options and its all very reasonably priced!
I will 100% be coming back before I leave Texas!

Best country experience ever...I swear my chicken fried steak was alive minutes before it hit my table...freshest steamed broccoli and cheese , my girlfriend and I couldn't stay out of each other's plate.

The Chicken Fried Steak is a must try. The steak was battered and cooked perfectly (not overly battered). The fried okra and mashed potatoes were great as well. My wife had the 14-ounce ribeye cooked medium. It was cooked to perfection. She also had mac and cheese and a dinner salad. The wait staff was prompt and kept our drink glasses full. Ma's Cafe is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back. I really hope that I can get past the Chicken Fried Steak and try a hamburger the next visit because they look delicious. YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT A TRY!!!

Good food with competitive prices. Kinda slow with alot of guests but they do there best.

Great food. Had the Bacon BBQ burger with sweet potato fries and my wife had a chicken fajita sandwich. It was delicious and had great service. Enjoyed the meal.

This is about to be your Go To "Hole in the Wall" home cooking choice! They have great Breakfast!!! Portions and pricing. I'm not the easiest person to please...that said they have yet to disappoint me.

We were a party of 5 that included 2 children. We came for an early dinner, and our server was Sam. There are daily specials drawn out on chalkboard. The menu selections will satisfy a variety of people's tastes. Two of us had the seafood basket, and it came with fried catfish fried shrimp and two sides. I chose mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The mashed potatoes were clearly fresh and Not instant potatoes, which was delightful. The Mac n cheese was lacking a little flavor. Ask the server what is avaliable for kids to eat, and she will list them out for you. Our kids chose fried catfish and fries. It was a good serving, and the fries were delicious. Husband got the hamburger with bacon and jalapeño. It was juicy and he got full! We were able to get parking in front of the restaurant, and it seems like there is also parking on the side of the building. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. We will definitely be back.

Very quaint little mom & pop diner. My husband and I went twice for breakfast while in town & both times we got sat & received our food within 15 mins. Very inexpensive for the amount of food you get. Coffee was free, food was warm, flavorful, and yummy. Service was great. They have their regulars which always makes the place seem more home like.

We have ate just about everything on the menu and have not been disappointed yet! Love the people treat you like family.

I got the chicken fried steak with fried okra and a salad. It was absolutely perfect. The place is country atmosphere and it is kept very clean. I will be back to try the rest of the menu for sure.
