Excellent boat tour! Mike took me and my two friends out with just three other visitors on his boat. He let us use his bathroom before he left and provided blankets on the boat for the chill. He took us out far enough to see the prettiest fall colors on the trees, and on top of that, he is very knowledgeable about the history of the area!

Loved our time on the lake, Mike is a wonderful storyteller who took the time to share a lot about the history of the area as well as funny anecdotes, will definitely go to him when we’re back!

Excellent boat tour of Caddo Lake!!! Easy to book and a great kid friendly tour. We took our 3 year old or behaved like a 3 year old on the boat. Captain Mike was excellent with her. We saw a lot of wildlife on the tour.

This was a very relaxing tour. Perfect for someone who enjoys nature and all its beauty. We traveled 3 hours just to take this boat tour, and it was worth it. We will be back. I still want to see it by sunrise, sunset, and in the fall.

Best tour for the cost!! Mike is a really good tour guide with a big, comfortable pontoon boat. He is a very competent and smooth pilot. He told us the history of the area in story form, but did not talk constantly. We had a balanced time of quiet enjoyment with the stories. He was always willing to pause for questions or stop the boat for an interesting photo shot. We had some friends with us that had recently been on another tour. They liked Mike’s tour more. We highly recommend Mike.

I have family in East Texas and have visited Caddo Lake numerous times over the years but had never actually been on the lake, which is a gorgeous, mysterious place that is not to be missed. I only happened upon Mike's tour and am so glad I did as I couldn't recommend it more highly. Mike is a consummate guide who knows the intriguing, winding lanes of Caddo Lake intimately. We took a longer than usual three-hour tour with him. Accompanying us were our large dogs. Mike was most accommodating and imparted loads of information about the lake, its wildlife, and its intriguing history. How someone can speak for three hours is beyond me, but Mike did so and was thoroughly entertaining. Perhaps it is his background as an educator that comes out in his tour. Our tour felt very personalized and is among my favorite tour experiences of all time. Moreover, we plan to go for another tour the next time we are in East Texas. Autumn on Caddo Lake looks spectacular. Many thanks Mike!

Captain Mike was an amazing host! Enjoyed the history of the area he shared as well as his knowledge of the ecosystem. He saw our interest in birds and would slow up or back up so we could get great pictures of birds sighted. We'll definitely return for a fall guide and a morning tour for optimal sighting of birds.

Mike is a very knowledgeable and patient gentleman. Thank you Mike for touring with us. The forest scene was amazing, drifting on the lake was fantastic. The weather was some cloudy so the sunrise was not perfect, but he took extra time to show us the beautiful trees. That’s really generous . I strongly recommend him to my friends.

Really loved this trip. Such a beautiful lake and area. The boat was very comfortable, and he was so knowledgeable about the history of the lake and the wildlife - with some great stories thrown in - the time went by too quickly! Would definitely recommend this :-)

Mike was a great tour guide. Hands down the pontoon boat tour was the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed learning the history of the area while taking in the sights. I loved that we had the whole boat to ourselves.

Three couples took a two hour tour of Caddo Lake with this tour company. The gude was very entertaining, and gave many historical facts of the area during the tour. We saw one alligator and many birds including a bald eagle during our tour.

What a lovely day on the water with Mike. Fun stories and lots of area history. We'll be back to see the trees turn red.
