Gibsons

Staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of things you can't find anywhere else.

We are from out of town and the trailer hitch pin we took with us was the wrong one. It's pouring cats and dogs outside and the staff at Gibson's went above and beyond to help us. I would recommend everyone to do business with these people. They are very accommodating and helpful. Thank you to Brandy and Ryan for going the extra mile to take my several calls and hunt for the part we needed. I own a business in Phoenix and appreciate staff like this. These are the kind of people you dream of having work for your company.

I have been going to this store for over 50 years, taking my kids, and now my grandson. They used to rope off the pharmacy at the back when the blue laws forbid selling certain items on Sundays. It's a slice of Americana!! I love Gibson's!! The owner (Tommy?) used to talk to little kids in a Donald Duck voice.

I'm thoroughly impressed Gibson's is still around! That was my favorite place as a kid. In Old East Dallas is where I remember my experiences at Gibson's. Crazy thing is, it's like the staff in Weatherford store came straight from Southeast Dallas where I grew up. By the way I'm 62 years old! :-)

They have everything! And offer friendly knowledgeable service. So glad to have them in our community, great folks

Does Gibson's have... yes, they have everything. It's a hardware store plus everything. When they had the command tape I was looking everywhere for they had me sold. Their toy department is impressive. They have the latest Melissa and Doug toys, Fisher Price, toys, unique toys, western toys (guns and clothing, horses and trailers) puzzles, retro toys, John Deere toys, baby toys, board games for all ages and more. Their boardgame prices beat Walmart. Specifically I looked at their classic chutes and ladders, hi ho cherry oh and classic candyland. The pictures of the Stihl chainsaw and weedwacker are toys although they do carry real Stihl products plus they have guns, ammo, cowboy boots, hats, fabric, kitchen goods, garden decor, garden supplies, some food products, cleaning products, clothing (mostly western), Texas themed decor, and souvenirs. I like to go down every isle and see what interesting things I can find. See my pictures of the toys.

FIREARMS! One of the best selections of firearms and accessories including suppressors, if they don't have it -they will get it. Good old fashioned Gibsons with a large selection of general goods.

I got a Stoeger 12 gauge 20 inch double barrel nickel. Wife loves it.

Absolutely love these guys! If I have any needs firearms related I will gladly drive well out of my way to go to Gibson's. I always have a good experience!

Just wow. First time shopper. Blown away by variety and items you just can't find elsewhere.

This is the type of place that you can walk up and down each aisle and smile. Just kept saying... I haven't seen those in a while or just cool off brand items you won't find at your big box stores.

Gun shop was impressive will be back when ready to purchase.

This place takes me back to running to the store with my Daddy growing up... I always have to check out the different departments, afraid I'll miss something I've been needing or a super special sales price!!! Got the items I needed today and finally that cute doggie romper for my Dozer. He LOVES IT!! He ate dinner and took a run or two around the back yard and has settled down for the evening nap..

First time here. Should have come a LONG time ago. This is my new favorite store. It's a REAL department store with good merchandise. Not the cheap junk you get in the big box stores. I went crazy in the hardware section with lots of things I'm always looking for. I also loved the grilling section. I will most certainly stop in just to browse. The staff is super friendly.

Awesome prices on ammo but the thing that prompted me to write this review is their customer service. Their website reflected one number available for the ammo I wanted but the warehouse was short. No worries there. Numbers don't always line up. I got a phone call letting me know and everything was quickly corrected. You just don't see that kind of thing these days.

Brandon, one of the owners was fantastic! Very professional and courteous. He resolved the issue I was having and made got me what I needed. Thanks, man! Hope they give you a raise
