Our first ever stay at a bed and breakfast, so enjoyed our stay In room #3. Had our own private hot tub and porch. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. Look forward to staying there again when we’re in town.

I recently spent a night at Angel’s Nest…if you like bed and breakfasts, this place is for you. VERY comfortable and clean bed and bath- conveniently larger screen tv to view movies and or sports…
breakfast brought to your door is a treat, was tasty and because my daughter visited from the college was made even more special.
- hotels provide a service…this was an experience: live your life, have more experiences. 🙌🏽

My husband and I came here on our anniversary and we have discovered an amazing place to stay in Texas. The owner Candace is absolutely the most accommodating hostess I have ever met. Her staff are amazing ladies. The rooms are amazing. The furniture is amazing. The house is absolutely gorgeous and it comes to complete with ghosts!! The lunch package is like stepping back into history, everything is handmade with love. They accommodate every request without reservation. Whoever has complained the past or will in the future are spoiled entitled brats. The staff are AMAZINGLY AWESOME!

My husband and I stayed for our 35 th wedding anniversary. The manager was super nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We stay in room 10 the views in the bedroom and upstairs where the bathroom and jacuzzi tub was beautiful. Our very favorite views was at night and very early in the morning .The only thing we wished they would have had two hooks to hang your robes on upstairs leading into the bathroom. We had to drape our robes over the stairway. I saw a good place leading into the bathroom to where they could put two hooks I meant to mention it to the manager but totally forgot. The stairways are kind of steep so you have to be very careful. And it is kind of tight getting around the bed closest to the window. The bed was comfortable. We weren't a big fan of the feather pillows. But we are used to memory foam pillows. And the TV did not work upstairs where the jacuzzi and bathroom is. The breakfast was delicious. They even made commendations for me meaning I cannot eat eggs. The only thing that would be nice is if they had water bottles in the mini fridge so you didn't have to go upstairs to the bathroom to get water to make coffee . I had brought our own hot chocolate mix. Because we like hot chocolate with our breakfast on cold mornings. It would be nice if they offer it to they're guests. The home had a lot of charm and was beautiful. I can't say enough about how nice and welcoming the manager was. We look forward to staying again. May try a different room next time. I highly recommend you give them a try.

My wife and I came here to get a night away from the kids for our 5yr anniversary and we loved it.

I only have 2 complaints about our entire visit. 1) We had to go home and couldn't stay another night 2) I'm an early riser and wish breakfast could have been about 2 hours earlier.

Outside of that the people were very nice and we will be going back.

This place was so beautiful, welcoming and relaxing! Ms. Candice was simply wonderful. She made us feel like we were family and very much at home. We stayed in room 5 which has 2 king size beds, a double person jacuzzi bathtub and it's own personal balcony. The bed was fantastic! It was so comfy and cozy with the fluffy pillows and comforter. It was, hands down, the BEST night of sleep I've had in forever! The jacuzzi tub was amazing. So very relaxing for tight, stressed out muscles and minds! Our breakfast this morning was delicious and right on time. They let us explore the whole house. All of the rooms are decorated in beautiful bedding and antique decor. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in town!

This house is just beautiful it has its turn of the century charm! The service from when I called to get instructions to get in and to the housekeeper Sabrina we’re outstanding! The breakfast was very delicious you can tell it was made with love! This house will take you back in time from all the details of it and it’s decor and the few modern amenities. Be ready to be taken back in time and enjoy the beauty of this place. We spend the night on room 10 for our 7th year anniversary.

The house is absolutely wonderful! We stayed in room 10 and it was beautiful. We had our own private balcony and it served as the perfect place to drink our morning coffee. The staff were extremely sweet and served us a delicious breakfast! I highly recommend!!

Stayed here last month- what a beautiful home. As someone that has lived in modest homes all my life, staying in a Victorian mansion was truly a highlight of my trip across country. The whole building as well as my room were very well-maintained, expertly curated, you can tell that the owners are passionate about this place. I'd never been to Texas before, and from the first call I placed, I was greeted with warm hospitality filtered through a charming Texas drawl. Bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, price was right. I'd stay here again if I ever get the chance!

Heavenly was our experience!!! Candice was very hospitable, friendly and professional. Our breakfast was fantastic! Even our ghostly encounters were friendly. The hot tub was off the chain!!! The beds were extremely comfortable. The balcony was such a peaceful place to just hang out in. The weather was a perfect fall day and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. We will come back and recommend this place to anyone.

We were met by a very friendly woman who got us settled in. The house was gorgeous, the room was beautiful. The king size bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub had a handheld shower attachment - it’s not the most practical shower solution (wasn’t advertised as such), but it’s an option which is nice, and the tub itself was wonderful. Breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning and it was delicious. Lovely night away and would highly recommend.

Beautiful home and hospitable staff. We felt very welcome! Our bed was comfortable and our room felt very private. We finally had a large jetted tub that had enough hot water to actually fill it up and enjoy it. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely visit again!

My husband and I stayed in Room #4.We had a great experience.
We were greeted at the door by Sandra, who answered all our questions and gave us a tour of the first floor as she told us the history of the house. Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit high, but they provided a step stool for my convenience. The view from the balcony was amazing. Our breakfast was delivered to our room and I highly recommend the spinach quiche. The only disappointment was we weren't able to sit out in the porch swing under the tree, as it was raining.
We will definitely be making a return visit.

This historic home has a lot of history and the stories to go with it which the owner shares with enthusiasm. We stayed two nights and explored the surrounding area and found that two nights needed to be extended to totally enjoy the entire area and surrounding towns. The home is beautifully decorated with what you would expect and the breakfast served is awesome, you don`t go away hungry!!! I would like the option to have breakfast either in the room or downstairs in the beautiful dining room to meet and enjoy the company of fellow travelers but that`s just me maybe... LOL. The owner is a lovely woman and knows her history well! I highly recommend a stop and stay at Angels Nest Bed & Breakfast.
