The Pizza Place

The Pizza Place was recommended to us by a hospital worker. This place makes a great pizza. We ordered a thin crust pizza with sausage and mushrooms. The thin crust is the best. So much Italian sausage on it. I've never had lose sausage on a pizza. I'm so glad I did this time. So much sausage that it blanketed the pizza. This a great thing. I had sausage in every bite. It was awesome.

Rodger has the best Pizza I've had in 35 years. He created us at the door he led us into his restaurant he took a personal interest in what we wanted and he made us feel welcome and best yet wanted. I have to be honest that it was the best place I've been in the last 30 years. I really can't say enough about good it was. Rodger cares about his guests and his employees and that special. Special beyond words. If you want an old school pizza pie give Rodgers Pizza Place a try. You will not be underwhelmed. Thank you Rodger for the commitment to excellence. It has not gone unnoticed.

Great hometown Pizza place. Really good subs, pizza and everything is homemade, or at least tasted and appeared that way. The service was amazing, super friendly and catered to our requests without hesitation. Even the manager walked around and introduced himself and made sure everything was to our liking. We'll be back for sure and definitely a recommended spot for a sub and a Pizza.

I have been eating at the Pizza Place since 1982. I’ve never had a better pizza anywhere. When I moved to Arlington in the mid 90’s. I would drive all the way from Arl to get Roger’s amazing Canadian bacon( real. CB … not just ham playing the part) or their amazing hamburger pizza. I usually order a half n half to eat in the dining room but I’ve been known to order a pizza uncooked so I could make it at home so it’s fresh after an hour drive each way. Their sprinkle cheese is the most unique and the most amazing blended topping I’ve ever had. We recently moved to Godley but I’ll still be making the hour each way drive. Amazing food and amazing community partner. Roger’s support for the schools and the students was second to none and inspiration to many businesses and neighbors alike. I know my name is there in the wood of the back booth somewhere. It’s been 41 years now so I’m sure it’s faded away. RIP Roger. I miss catching up with you while I’m in town visiting. I really need to get that recipe for the sprinkle cheese so when I make a pizza in my new pizza oven from Xmas. ( my pizza will be a sincere but sad imitation of Rogers creation!). I’m sure it’ll taste great on my home made pizza but the Pizza Place pizza is still the best you can get an I’ll never even get close to making his dough and sauce. Cyall soon!!!!! I’m gettin a hankerin for some sprinkle cheese!!!

Excellent, a place that gives pizza topping overload, totally delicious! Crispy crust, crispy enough to hold up 2" thick worth of delicious toppings. They even had a special so we got a free small cheese along with purchase of XL pizza for our daughter. No question we will be back

I have eaten at The Pizza Place for decades and always found two things for certain...GREAT Pizza and GREAT staff. Roger Grizzard set the expectation level for both the food quality/taste and customer service and that continues today. We love The Pizza Place and are so thankful it is an ongoing part of our town.

Great old fashioned pizza and friendly staff. I love that this place has stayed the same through the years. I used to come here as a kid after sports events and with friends over 15+ years ago. Now I bring my son to enjoy the same great pizza they've always provided to Weatherford Texas. I know I'll always be able to come back here and bring back some great memories! Try them out! My favorites are cheesy breadsticks and the classic pepperoni pizza with jalapeños on half of it 😍

The best hometown pizza! I also want to commend the young man behind the counter tonight who had to deal with some impatient customers and he handled it with such maturity.

Love this place! 😊 Best pizza in the area, maybe the state. Seriously, if you haven't been, just go. Real ingredients, made right on the spot. Cozy, old fashioned pizza place feel. 🍕 One of our favorite places to eat.

We came in for the 1st time last night. Fantastic food and service. The toppings were excellent. I recommend the hamburger. It definitely did not have a fast food chain taste. Please give this place a try. Friendly staff recommended their creamy Italian dressing for dipping. It was amazing. Thanks guys.

Stopped here on the way home. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious. Got a pepperoni pizza and a hamburger pizza. They put plenty of toppings. And the hamburger pizza was the best hamburger pizza I have ever tasted. Also the decor is really cute. Can't wait go try more things here when we are back in town.

Made it back for our 2nd visit today, and The Pizza Place did not disappoint! Friendly staff, great pizza and bread sticks. We travel to the DFW area multiple times a year from west Texas, and this place will be among our favorite places to stop on our way back. Thank you!

I have gotten take out two times now. So good! Some of the best tasting pizza I have had. Generous toppings in the sampler pizza and chef salad. Service was fine for the time of night and night of the week. This is my only pizza spot.

Great pizza, and a retro, family environment to enjoy a meal in.
