Studio 6 Colorado City, TX

If you are in Colorado City, Texas and are looking for a place to call home by all means call Motel 6. Due to water issues this past week I was in search for a place to lay my head down. I made a reservation with Motel 6 worried it wouldn’t be up to standards. When I arrived, checked inspected the motel I was truly amazed and how well the motel looked. It had stairs, carpet in the hallway clean. Once in my room everything was so new from the paint, curtains appliances it also had a mini kitchen and a dining table. I was very impressed!! The help to include office manager Sandy and her helper I didn’t get his name were very nice! I will definitely be returning. 🙂

Great hotel with kitchenette and at affordable price. Kept coming back everytime I worked near Colorado city. Staff was clean and helpful making long stays for work pleasant. Washer and dryer were also convenient for saving long drives to laundromats. Recommend big time 👍

We have stayed in over 3 dozen different hotels this year and this was by far the best. The staff both check in and check out were very nice and pleasant. The room with a kitchenette was very clean and well maintained. I actually thought at first they must have remodeled it. The bed was very comfortable across between a soft and a firm. I prefer soft and my husband firm. The pillows were hard but we bring our own. The only downside was to much light came through the blackout curtains making the room bright while you tried to sleep. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

We've probably stayed at 3 dozen different hotels this past year and this was probably one of the best. The check-in and checkout staff were very pleasant. The room with kitchenette was very clean and new looking even though we were told it was 5 years old. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were hard (we usually bring our own). The only negative was that the curtains allowed in to much light from the parking lot making it bright in the room while trying to sleep. However, the hotel is set back and by itself so there was no outside noise or even any from within. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

This place is amazing for a budget motel. I stay in a lot of crusty motels for work, this place blows all the others out of the water. The rooms have a full kitchenette- stove, mid size fridge/freezer, microwave. Very clean, modern, safe and affordable. I wish every motel was like this one.

Rooms are clean, and if you forget something the receptionists are always there to help you. We forgot to bring shavers and we asked them if they had some and they didn't charge us for them. The maids would come by every day to clean and if you have the "Do not bother" sign on the door they won't bother you unless you take it off they will knock the door to see if you need anything.

They have a kitchen if you are wondering that, and it is close to the Mesquite Star site for the wind turbines workers, about 34min I would say.

Only bad thing is that there are not many restaurants nearby.

This hotel was a life saver! We stayed here while working a local contract for nearly 4 months. Amanda, who is the front desk manager, is amazing and took such great care of us while we were there. I can’t say enough good things about her! Staying here was like staying in a studio apartment. We loved having the kitchenette, and the washers and dryers on-site were so convenient! We would definitely recommend this Studio 6 to anyone passing through or needing somewhere to stay in the area! Thank you!

This hotel is so clean and the staff are amazing. Stopped after driving 14 hours with my dog and Eddie and Connie at the front desk were so kind and accommodating. The hotel was really quiet too. Can’t recommend this place enough for those traveling on a budget.

The room may have been a bit smaller than other rooms at hotels we've stayed at, but the way it was laid out it didn't really feel cramped. This is a nice place for a one night stay, considering the price I would say it was worth it. We had a bit of a problem in the checking in; they had problems with the internet or their system or something. So it took us just a little longer to get checked in. Maybe call ahead so they can help you get started in the process of checking in? Idk. Good value for money.

From the staff at the front desk to the room everything was great. The room was almost new. It had a great kitchen, wood floors and a very comfortable bed. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of areas to walk him. There were not a lot of non-fast food so we bought food at a very nice local grocery store. We will definitely stay here again.

I have been staying here for a few months now, because this is where my company has been working on a contract. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out with anything they can. The room is kept clean and stocked with fresh linens, and the house keepers respect you personal belongings. From time to time I've left a dirty dish in the sink and they'll take care of it as well. It really has been a pleasure to stay here.

Amanda at the front desk has been a saint! after a very long day of traveling she was extremely kind and extremely helpful every step of the way. the hotel itself appears brand new; it’s very clean, has everything you need and honestly it was a pleasant surprise considering the affordable rates. highly recommend!

Wish they have a diffent time check out when u get there late at night. Seem like wasted 80.00 for couple hours of rest but not for this hotel was amazing. Lady under stood. They need a pool for kids and hot tub so ppl can relax

We were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities at this newly updated Motel 6! The beds were comfortable, absolutely loved that it came with a fully loaded kitchenette...stove, fridge,microwave, dishes, pots & pans etc. Wish were staying longer so we could've enjoyed it! Staff was very nice and very helpful

For the price is one of the best hotels. It was the first time I stayed there but I'd definitely come back.

I was traveling alone from California. I couldn't find a place to stay and it was getting dark. I started praying and low and behold this
Motel 6 just popped up and I was so happy. This place was excellent and very quiet. It took a long time for the hot water to show up but after 5 minutes of running it I was in the bath. Wow! The personnel was so friendly. I was a little surprised it was a studio but the price was right. Hey folks, don't ever stop in Midland Texas for overnight stay. Way too expensive for seniors.

This Motel 6 went beyond my expectations. The room amenities, design and decor was from what you would expect from a 4+ star hotel. I never would’ve imagine staying at a Model 6 so nice like this one. Front desk lady was very friendly and kind as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I'm from south of San Antonio so finding a place to stay was easy when I looked on line and price quoted, along side seeing reviews.
It was a no brainier Studio 6 was going to be my only choice.
I will return again next year...after all, I will be singing at the event in 2018 and I will need a place to stay! 🎼🎤🎸
Location is super easy to find, even without Siri. Price is affordable. Loved the small kitchenette area they offer as well.
I sure will recommend to anyone.

New hotel (still smells like fresh paint in the halls). Clean rooms with kitchenette (new appliances, of course). Surprisingly nice for the money (half of the cost of others in the area when booked online). Stop at Bigg's Pizza for some local food and you're set.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. This hotel is like a mini apartment. I would recommended it to any one traveling thru the area. Professional staff and great price. It's like new they keep it very clean. Lisa Rincones at the front desk went above and beyond. She helped us find a dentist. Made an appointment the same day. And gave us directions. We travel for work. We live on the road. And will look for studio 6 in every town we stay in. Thank you to all the staff at studio 6 in Colorado city Texas.
