Ziggy's Roadside BBQ

Good barbecue joint with welcoming staff and appropriately unique decor. Ample serving size which seems to be more rare with BBQ.

I had the ribs and brisket combo with beans and potato salad. Brisket was disappointing as it is more of a chopped brisket piece rather than nicely formed slices with visible smoke rings. Ribs were great with a slightly peppery rub and cooked perfectly so the bone didn't just fall out. Sides were what I look for - seasoned well without stealing the show.

I always appreciate a self serve fountain with sweet tea and lemonade so that's another plus. I'd go again if in the area but try a different combo than the brisket.

It's probably the best tasting Ribeye ever. A whole lot better than any other steakhouse out there. Well worth the trip to Bracketville.

I had the Ribeye steak on Friday evening. It was in the top 5 best steaks I’ve ever had. The huge baked potato was perfect and the salad was cold and crisp.
Now I just figure out a way to get back to Ziggy’s from Florida.

Brisket tacos are tops. Great People. Nice BBQ Dive. The specials are fantastic as well. The Ribbs are a little hit and miss. Potato salad it average. Burgers are fantastic. Fries, onion rings, and fried pickles are great. The bbq sause has nice peppery kick. Good place.

"I'm from Kansas City and I know BBQ". That out of the way , the brisket was very tender and flavorful, some of the best I ever had. Potato salad just the way I like it and great pinto beans. Cool roadside vibe and great service. I want to go here every week! Can't miss this gem.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but that was the best barbecue I’ve ever had and I know barbecue!

Stopped in and got a turkey sandwich, macaroni salad, and sweet potato fries. Everything tasted delicious! Ziggy's is a hidden gem. I would definitely recommend stopping in!!!

We stopped here on our way back east. The brisket plate was amazing. BBQ sauce was just as good. The brisket came with no sauce on it and you put what you want on it. Sauce is on the tables. Friendly atmosphere and plenty of seating. Steak is on fridays after 4.

It's very rare that I ever give someplace a five on my first visit. Sometimes the first visit you can get lucky and have great food great service, etc.

If you're ever anywhere within driving distance of Ziggy's, it's an absolute must. Make sure you call a few days in advance and get the ribeye, they only serve it on Fridays pre-ordered.

The flavor of my ribeye was absolutely fantastic. I have never in my life had a steak cooked perfectly to order from one end to the other. Every single bite was cooked exactly the way I wanted it.

The staff is excellent! Wonderful! Awesome! I can't come up with any reason to say anything other than nice things, because they were so nice.

It's simply a shame that it is so far away, but I'm definitely going to make a point of going a few more times.

Perfect roadside stop! No frills, good down home cooking. Counter service, with lots of tables to eat in if you want.
Had the brisket and ribs. Brisket was super moist and slow cooked. The pork ribs fell off the bone, just about perfect. The house bbq sauce was great too, pretty classic Texas style.

Brisket and ribs so tender and full of flavor. No BBQ needed. Perfect smoked. 👍

What the heck? This tiny place in the middle of nowhere has the BEST ribs I've ever eaten. Here it is, the next day, and I am on the computer to write a review. Yes, it was THAT good. Amazing bark on the ribs and brisket (but not hard!) And the meat was pull-off-the-bone tender and juicy. I've never seen ribs this NATURAL and good. I didn't taste ANY sweet rubs or fake powders. It tasted like it was seasoned with salt, pepper, and 14 hours of low temps. My plate and a tea was about $23.80 so I had to sell some plasma to pay for it. I wish it was more reasonably priced. But well worth it once in a while. GREAT JOB!

What a BBQ find out away from the places you'd expect. Keep smoking that good mesquite Q.

They have absolutely delicious food and amazing people. The owners are great friends, and everyone is so polite!

Brisket is alittle expensive, but mouthwatering, alittle bit spicy for those with a weaker stomach,
but really juicy.
The bacon cheeseburger is the best I've ever had.
The fries were crispy outside and tender inside just the way I love them.
Ribs are always great and sticky,
but usually sold out when I go,
so it's best to get there early.
Staff is friendly.

MUST stop if you are driving by! Make sure not to miss it! Smoked turkey will change your thoughts on turkey! We got the Rib and turkey plate, and we absolutely love it!

Top-notch BBQ. We've been to Ziggy's about a dozen times. The food is amazingly delicious. Great brisket and sausage. They also catered a wedding for us and did a fantastic job. Great breakfast tacos, too. You can't go wrong with Ziggy's. Best bbq on Hwy 90, maybe anywhere.
