Stopped in from a long motorcycle ride. My friends had Mexican food. I had a cheeseburger on homemade buns. Very good! The waitress was very attentive and polite. A nice place to get off the road for a while. The salsa was excellent

Best food in town. Absolutely loved it and will be going there only from now on.

Yum! The lemonade here is fantastic (do yourself a favor and get some) and served in a massive mug. We showed up on a Sunday and went with the lunch buffet and everything was delicious. It was a mix of feeling like after church lunch with your family and Thanksgiving (soooooo much food and you leave fuller than is probably wise).

The chicken was perfectly seasoned with crunchy skin and moist meat. The barracho beans were in a crock pot and just melted in your mouth. There was even deviled eggs!

We came by after a weekend at Kickapoo Cavern SP and recommend this stop for anyone nearby. Very homey feel.

Very nice and simple comfortable little restaurant. Food is amazing with a variety of dishes to order. All their food has a, made at home taste.

While staying here in brackettville Texas I decided to have something a little different and because of Google pictures I was able to see a burger that looked unique, so I came here to Julie's place in order the Mexicana Burger with fries. It comes on a homemade bun which takes it a little over the top in flavor and the fact that bun holds together better than a traditional bun. The burger had grilled onions bell peppers pepper jack cheese, avocado slices, lettuce and tomatoes, but not sure on condiments because the flavor was really good and I almost forgot a small thin slice of ham that was also grilled to give it that added flavor.
The fries were normal and service was fast and friendly by the young lady at the front desk. I would definitely recommend the Mexicano Burger if you're looking for something a little different.

DEFINITELY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Amazing food, great service and clean!!! My husband and I were driving through and stopped by to check out this place. We were disappointed to find out it was closed and won’t open for another hour but Julie saw us and let us in. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for superb Mexican food. By the way, coffee was just as good.

After church a few Sundays ago, our friends invited us to join them for lunch at Julie’s. The place was crowded as there are few places to dine in Brackettville, especially on a Sunday. The service was prompt, and the food was good value. My only complaint was the very small, confined bathroom, but it was clean :)

Fun, good food, Tuesday nights are the best

Their food and friendly service is always dependable. They have added Chili Relleno to their menu and it is great! Grilled catfish with your choice of sides is excellent! Nice, warm family owned Brackettville business

If you like authentic Mexican food at a good value...this place is for you....only a step above a dive....but very clean, very mom and pop in a good way....I felt like I was in Mexico in a good way with the very authentic decor...and the food was outstanding and a great value....and Julie and her staff seemed to really appreciate our business....I thought Julie was going to cry with the tip that we gave her.

The food is always outstanding! The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Excellent night out dining!
